This was a very rushed visit in the Cape Girardeau, Missouri office. The doctor spent less than 10 minutes with me. He didn't even want to look at the log of blood pressure readings that I was told to keep for him. I could barely keep him in the exam room to answer questions. I consider him to be cold and impersonal. I am reconsidering going back for a follow-up visit.

I've had Dr. I for my cardiologist for a few years. Unfortunately, radiation damaged my heart and I had my first heart attack at the age of 37. I've had a few different cardiologists and worked with many since I started working in healthcare in 1981. Dr. I is EXCEPTIONAL. Anyone whom would "Rate" him less so is, IMHO, a liar, ignorant, or has mental health issues. He is smart, personable, and compassionate. I owe him a debt of gratitude for saving my life last year. And the caring he has displayed to my family is much more than most physicians. I pray he stays in Cape as he's the best I've ever had!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Dr. I was completely rude. I was a young adult experiencing heart issues. He spent only five minutes with me just to say to “quit drinking so much alcohol and energy drinks” after I said that I do neither. I only wanted to set up very expensive test to prove that it was in my head. I later went to another hospital where they were very kind and found out exactly what the problem was with a single test. Dr. I is not a kind and caring doctor.

My mother went to this doctor and she stated that he was in the room no longer than two minutes. He didn't take time to talk to her or answer any questions. She said he blew her off. She also said the nurse was not friendly at all. I would like to blame it on both not having a good day. Going to a heart doctor is stressful enough but when you have people that doesnt show care, it makes the process so much much harder. I am disappointed in this doctors and nurse's lack of compassion.
