The Most Uncaring Doctor I’ve Ever Seen
There is NO staff in the front at all (went twice, no staff). They are unable to schedule follow ups same day. They can’t tell you how much services will be the day of. So fast forward to the REAL issue. I was told I’d be called in the future to take care of payment for my in-detail sonogram. Almost a month went by, and I was called to set up the follow up. (My results didn’t come back perfect from my first one, so I was anxiously awaiting this follow up.) A couple days before that follow up, I finally get contacted by the billing department for my bill. $820! I went into the office the next day, day of my follow up, crying explaining I can’t pay that much especially twice considering I was supposed to get the same thing again. Dr. Iyer came, seen tears and snot running down my face concerned for my baby’s health, and did not give a single care! She let me leave without even voicing concern. My high risk pregnancy and unborn child did not matter to her, because I didn’t have money.

Disappointing
Was assigned Dr Iyer when sent as a referral. Had high expectations but was let down. Dr Iyer never discussed the ultrasound images done by tech, even though tech said she would. Only information I know is what I got from ultrasound tech which means nothing. No idea if my baby is on track for growth or weight. Felt like every question I had for clarity was met with condescending response like I was an uneducated idiot. In fairness I am uneducated in this because I have never gone through this and would expect more compassion. Considering the field Dr Iyer is in, with high risk patients, one would expect better engagement. Said I would be set up for I test and never provided anything. Had I not asked at checkout I would have left with nothing. So disappointed in this experience.

Doesn’t listen or care
I saw this Dr today and was completely dismissed, made to feel uncared for and unheard. Felt like my safety does not matter AT ALL. Then she had the Audacity to say “does your cardiologist have privileges at BSW grapevine” i responded with “yes” and she said “that’s good, so if something does happen he can come there”. She took full responsibility and Recognition of my risk and still proceeded to show no care and has no care to look out for my safety even after saying baby is completely 100% healthy. I DO NOT RECOMMEND and i will be reporting that statement to the medical board. That is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional to say to a patient who you’d completely dismissed!! DO NOT USE HER!!

I'm taking progesterone for my pregnancy at the recommendation of another doctor that I trust very much. I was sent to Dr. Iyer to do a special sonogram to detect potential abnormalities due to a potential circumvallate placenta. She kept questioning me as to why I'm taking progesterone, even after I gave her several reasons, backed by scientific evidence. She made me feel unheard and wary to go back to this provider. My circumvallate placenta is a non-issue as it turns out.

Dr. Iyer helped me during one of the most trying times of my life. I planned for a less complicated pregnancy, but things don't always go as planned. She performed my cerclage for my incompetent cervix, and helped me get back to normal as soon as possible. She has great bedside manner, and her clear, concise answers allowed me to be at ease in between visits.

I personally had a horrible birthing experience under the care of Dr. Iyer. This Doctor fed me false information, went against my wishes more than once, ignored my opinions and preferences, and left me feeling scared for my life by the time my daughter was delivered. She had no respect for me as a human being. I wrote a horrible review to Harris Health Methodist following my procedure and never received contact back. I'd rather deliver in a bathtub home alone than under the care of Dr. Iyer.
