Dr. Chinnavuth Demonteiro, MD

They have been my primary care office for a couple of years. I have never had an issue with the NPs but I have never even met my 'Doctor' in addition the office staff are extremely unprofessional.

Elsa of his staff is not helpful, does not listen and will constantly interrupt you mid-sentence before you can finish asking a question. Dr. de Monteiro is usually not available to see you unless you want to wait and book a reservation two months away (!) Not good....

Very attentive and spends time listening to your concerns.

Dr Demonteiro was my PCP for some years. When called him today, for advice or appointment because one of my lab. results was critical low, I was told he does not have appointment till December. I was told I should wait till December for an appointment, or make a decision by myself what to do. I was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer, and I think I should expect a bit more help from my primary care physician.

Dr. DeMonteiro was our primary care physician for many, many years until we moved from California to Idaho. I don’t know if we’ll ever find another PCP as caring, trustworthy, dedicated, and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that his patients are well taken care of. Both my husband and I were confident that if we had a disease, an illness, or a condition that needed treatment, Dr. DeMonteiro would address our concerns. He was always willing to run the needed tests, rule out life-threatening issues, prescribe necessary medications, think out-of-the-box, recommend viable solutions, answer questions, explain his reasoning, return our calls, visit in the hospital, and refer us to high-quality specialists so we were as healthy as we could be. Yes, there might be a bit of a wait in the office on occasion, but for the sake of good health and an exceptionally competent PCP, a few minutes’ wait is a small price to pay. He is a rare gem. Highly recommend without hesitation.

I had him as my primary care doctor several years ago and my insurance changed and I did not have him on that plan. Not to underate other doctors but he was my favorite doctor of all time. I miss him he was a very friendly and knowleageable doctor.

My wife saw this doctor for over 10 years and was trusted by my wife. However, on 7/6/2018 Dr. Demonteiro prematurely discharged her from the hospital on to have her die two days later with no heart monitor or heart medication. She died with me attempting CPR. I really question this doctor's qualification to practice medecine.

Dr. De Monteiro is one of the very best doctors in the World. I've been his patient for 15 years. He's always genuinely cheerful and deeply caring towards me-always maintains the highest level of medical skills/knowledge. He's an excellent listener, remembers important details from previous visit(s). I'm so very lucky at age 79 to have such a wonderful doctor to rely on for any medical concerns.
