A Knowledgeable, Focused, and Reliable Doctor
My first visit was for treatment of plantar fasciitis. I received my injections and was given a return appointment. Upon returning I was also experiencing additional pain from my feet up into my lower back. After a through examination he explained to me that I had several things going on besides the problem with my foot. My other problem was most likely from lumbar stenosis, which was validated after undergoing a nerve study test he ordered. I have since highly recommended Dr. Akunne to my friends and family.

Extremely Helpful
Dr. Akunne is attentive and patient. Excellent table side manner. This is the 2nd time he has gotten me in quickly for an emergency. Staff was courteous and friendly with the exception of a nurse from another doctor in the same office who wheeled me to the front and left me to fend for myself to get to my car.

He does not listen. He spends about 5 minutes without listening to your history. His mind is made up before he enters room. No bedside manner. Very aggressive and doesn't believe what you say. No experience. Terrible people person and nurse is same way. Only reason he gets a 1 is I cannot put negative numbers. I don't recommend him at all!
