Kind and good problem solver
Second generation patient, both my parents treated by Dr. Nakamura. Both loved him. Always feel he has time to listen. Good at finding solutions. Referrals close to home and covered by my insurance whenever possible. In his office this week and everyone pleasant and professional. He is reassuring from the first smile.

Rude office staff
I had been a patient for over 20 years, I would call for my prescriptions to be renewed and sometimes wait a week and had to call multiple times, had to get ahold off, receptionist was rude and I didn’t feel respected, she got very “ snarky” with me. That was it, I have changed doctors and my husband has also!

They are inconsiderate and discriminatory
They lie, are inconsiderate, and are discriminatory selecting new patients!I called multiple times and eventually someone answered saying they were taking new patients. They told me that they would mail me a new patient form and once I fill it out and bring it back they could schedule me in a few weeks. They mailed it out, I filled out the pile of forms, and I hand delivered it to the office where they said they would call me to schedule my appointment. Two weeks go by without a call, so I call and wait on hold for 10 minutes, eventually someone answers and says they just need to find my form I dropped off and they can then schedule me. I get put on hold again for 10 minutes, when the person gets back on the phone they tell me they are no longer taking new patients, sorry...

Not a visit, just an overall review. I am certain that some friends have had many great visits with Dr. Nakamura. However, that was not our experience when my husband was quite ill with Covid some weeks back. We called many times to get help, but they kept saying "We'll call you back", when they really didn't call or do ANYTHING to help for many days as he worsened! We were ASTOUNDED by the lack of care! Now, I realize probably many doctors were overwhelmed with patients with Omicron variant which spread like wildfire in our area. However, my husband did not have anything as "light" at Omicron, and was extremely ill. Yet, still zero help from Dr. Nakamura's office for days on end. I was starting to wonder if my husband would even survive until they would call back! Thank God we had natural meds, that helped a bit! He may be a wonderful doctor in general, but not so with Covid-19! Recently, husband has found a different doctor who is actually concerned abt. their patients.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Nakamura to me when I was new in the area. I found him to be very knowledgeable and personable, but getting a callback from him is almost impossible. We have left medical forms with him to fill out and finally after several calls and missed deadlines, we have received what we needed. His staff is friendly but I feel that they are frustrated also - put into a bad position when they know what we need is sitting on his desk, waiting. He may just have too many patients

Each year I was trying to deal with having my blood work done at a hospital lab when codes did not accompany the lab work needed. Each year I would tell Dr Nakamura that the hospital lab needed them and each year I would have the same problem. Last year a new blood lab test was added, in writing, without a reason for ordering it. The lab called office and since neither the office staff or Nakamura got back to the lab, I was personally charged for the requested blood work. Not allowing me more

He promises a call back but never does. Promises to call a med in but won't until you call 100 times and the staff are left in a crappy position. He's happy to deal work 1 visit stuff but after that, good luck. Don't ever expect a call back or follow up. Office is clean, 75:100 staff are nice. Burns through help dt difficulty to work with.

Dr Nakamura is a wonderful physician. He is knowledgeable and understanding. He explains information in a manner all can understand. He is warm, genuine, caring, calm and trustworthy. Our whole family goes to him now and we are very happy we are in his care. He is very popular, so it is sometimes difficult to get an appointment on short notice but I have left messages for him and he responds within 24 hours. He really cares about his patients.

I'm a private duty home care agent with medical training and was there with a client , we expressed some concerns to the doctor himself he was very condescending, quick to brush things off and treated me like some lying idiot
