Dr. Cheryl Polkowski, MD

May 20, 2022 Second best doctor we’ve ever had. The first was my severely brain damaged daughters doctor, Dr. fredrick Sanford Ladage. He was like a daddy/grandpa to us, but he passed away, so we had to find another doc. Sooooo, sooo glad and pleased that God sent her our way. She is an absolutely Amazing doctor and human being. We love her to pieces. She tries to treat you as a human patient, not just the next duty in line. She listens to you and discusses things with you even if she doesn’t totally agree with you, your decisions or methods about your own healthcare. What I like about her most is her honesty and sincerity . She really does Care about each of her patients as an individual. Just love her.

The last time I visited I changed providers. I had the poorest of experiences at this facility. I was a client of Dr Polkowski from her old practice and transitioned to her newer practice. I was satisfied when her care when she first opened years ago, but the care got progressively worse as did the wait times. Her office staff is constantly revolving. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Polkowski or her staff to anyone. In addition, their billing mistakes were later an absolute nightmare.

Dr. Polkowski, is an amazing provider. I would recommend her to anyone. She is knowledgeable and cares. That is rare in this day and age. Thank you for always treating my family with dignity and respect.

Dr. Polowski has been my doctor for 12+ years. She and her staff will bend over backwards to do the very best for her patients. She never rushes in and out and she has heart she makes me feel as if I matter and My trust level is a solid 100 percent I honestly cannot think of going to another physician. Dr. Polkowski is probably the best physician that I have ever had. I am a former patient of hers with the S & W Health Plan . I didn't renew my Insurance with S & W because I'm going to purchase new Insurance in hopes of going back to Dr. Polkowski. She genuinely cares about her patients. Dr. Polkowski is the best, she takes the time to listen to you and explains her plan of attack. You never leave her office without knowing exactly what you are to be doing. If she orders test her office calls you with the results you are never left hang. She does not believe in no news is good news. You may have to wait but she is worth the wait.

I have been going to Dr Polkowski since she came to Wellstone. She is very professional and is genuinely concerned for her patients. She is one of those exceptional physicians who is truly interested in helping her patients and I trust her judgement more than any doctor I've seen in a very long time.

My overall experience with Dr.Polkowski was very good once she arrived. She is very professional and she actually listen to your concerns about your health problems. The reason one is there in the first place. She seems to see you as a patient a person with a medical problem not just a number. Even though she doesn't know you personally she treats you like a friend.
