Dr. Chelsea Hawthorne, DO

My daughter had an incredibly frustrating experience with Dr. Hawthorne at Le Bohuer. She brought her child in because she was worried about his fever, & Dr. H seemed completely out of her depth. She misdiagnosed the condition, confusing eczema with a burn, which only added more stress & confusion to an already difficult situation. What was even more alarming was her refusal to reach out to the child's regular doctor or allergist for guidance. It's incredibly concerning that a medical professional would be so dismissive of consulting with others in the field, especially when a more experienced opinion could help clarify the diagnosis & treatment plan. Instead of offering reassurance or a clear plan, Dr. H left my daughter feeling more uncertain than when she came in. I would not recommend her to offer competent care & help you navigate your child's health issues. Unfortunately her lack if experience & unwillingness to collaborate with others caused unnecessary added stress.
