Dr. Chase Grames TOP NOTCH MEDICAL CARE
I honestly cannot speak more highly in regard to my recent visit and the medical care extended to me by Dr. Chase Grames DO, with Southwest Orthopedics and Sports in St George, Utah.First , and probably most important, Dr. Grames was extremely thorough with a complete and extended examination and evaluation concerning my problem “hip-leg”. I had complete confidence in his medical expertise evaluating my condition… from X-rays to physical examination.Second, he took the time to explain to me in understandable terms, my exact condition. He fully explained the ramifications of the condition.Thirdly, he fully explained all my various options and courses of different treatment with which I’m presented…with all the pro’s and con’s and expected results of various treatment approaches. He was super and truly attentive in fully answering all my various questions… which I had a lot. This site limits my full review. Suffice it to say, Dr Grames gave me top notch medical care.

Horrible experience
Dr. Grames was extremely unprofessional. I felt like he didn’t want to spend anymore time with me than he had to. I have an injured knee that has torn ligaments due to a pickleball accident and was referred here by Instacare. Dr. Grames was the first appointment I could get into. When he examined my knee he treated it like it wasn’t hurt and was passive about the examination. He then said I shouldn’t look to schedule an MRI even though my X-rays came back clean because I should be a “good steward of insurance” because even if I had met my deductible, me using my insurance for the MRI would raise the prices for everyone else. He also said it was too early to tell anything and I needed to be walking on it even though I told him it wasn’t weight baring and painful with any weight put on it at all. He made me feel like because I wasn’t an “athlete” my injury wasn’t as important. He also would not talk to me as the patient, but rather my male friend who was helping me and supporting me.

Horrible experience! Highly unprofessional! I was sent there from the instacare. I only made ONE appointment. I will not ever be going back. Dr Grames needs to lose his license .
