After a year of conservative treatment, I gave up and had surgery for De Quervain's tenosynovitis. By the time I got home from the procedure my thumb stopped hurting. It healed beautifully and hasn't bothered me since (this was nearly 10 yrs ago). Two happy thumbs up!

Wonderful
My experience with Dr. Woolley was wonderful including one operation on my hand & treated other conditions a number of times for me. Very satisfied. His concern for me was very genuine.

Under no circumstances can I recommend this guy! He is rude with no bedside manner and is not really concerned with your well-being. Appears to be angry and uninterested in you as patient.

Unsterile environment and unprofessional! My step-father visited this doctor for a severed finger. The office is dirty and disorganized, chairs held together by duct tape. The drawers where should be sterile tools & bandages had included garden shears and paper-cutting scissors. The nurse was unprofessional and sloppy. He did NOT wash his hands before touching my father's severed finger. I know that if he gets an infection in his finger or loses it, it will be because of this doctor's office

This doctor is not a passionate doctor. He is very rude and unkind. I wish I had more room to write so I can warn you about him and what was done to me. I just want you to know if you have a workers comp case this is not the doctor for you. Thank God I have a solid case. I am really messed up with my wrist all the way up to my elbow. I am so worried that this new doctor will not do anything to help me. I am forced to go to this doctor!!!!!! He will be on work comp side. Warning!!!

If I could assign negative stars, I would. I've never been treated as poorly by or spoken to as disrespectfully by a doctor as I have from Dr. Woolley. He may be a competent surgeon—I don't even know if that's true—but his interaction with me as a patient left me in tears. When complications arose, he became angry and accusatory towards the patient instead of looking for a solution. I will never refer anyone to him again, nor have him perform another procedure on me

Unsatisfied in Portland, Oregon – Jul 25, 2017

Very unprofessional and severely lacking hygiene practices. Both the doctor and assistant touched the open wound without hand washing or wearing gloves, risking infection on a serious level. The doctor and assistant have very poor communication with each other and with patients. You will find better care elsewhere.

Call this doctors office if you want to be made to feel inferior and talked down to by Veronica. Veronica does not like helping people and made it clear that they do not need any more patients. I'd like to point out that Veronica is the receptionist and not a doctor. I'd suggest that if Dr. Woolley actually wants more patients than he should not let Veronica answer any more phones.

This was an overly unprofessional experience on his part. He told me little, was quick to tell me I needed surgery without telling why exactly, opposed to the alternative. I had to ask the scheduling (RN?, Tech?) what the surgery entailed, with little information given. The doctor insulted my insurance, and left me in a lot more pain than when I entered. The real problems happened after the visit. I was told I was going to be called the next day about the surgery, a splint referral, and sch
