was disrespected

Dr Stewart on my wife's first visit reviewed X-rays and explained clearly why she needed a hip replacement. He also explained procedure in an understandable way, patiently answering our questions. Replacement went smoothly. Staff worked hard to get surgery appointment quickly.

We had seen this Dr last year for a complete hip tendon tear. After PCP ordering new MRI & symptoms now include more pain, walking with a cane & numbness, Dr. Tried to tell me it was nothing. I had already had PT, walked & had 3 steroid I injections in hip & he wanted me to have another. I know realize this Dr is incompetent of doing the type of surgery we need. I would not recommend him or hope anyone else is subjected to his mean & demeaning ways. My family has used the other Ortho doctors there who were wonderful & can't say enough for the wonderful staff in every dept.

My husband and I both think very highly of Dr. Chad Stewart. He is always very kind and understand while explaining any issues we may have with knees, hips and other areas of pain. I will be having Dr. Stewart replace my left knee when needed. Walking has been a challenge at times for me but Dr. Stewart's suggestions of PT and exercises I can do at home have helped greatly. I know I will be in safe hands when the time comes for my procedure.

My husband has had bilateral hip replacements this year each three months apart. Dr. Stewart is kind. His staff is kind. His facility has up to date equipment and the service was excellent. I read a few reviews portraying him as arrogant. I don’t believe he is arrogant; I believe he is confident and self-assured in his ability as a surgeon. He didn’t rush us. He answered our questions and explained the procedure well. His follow-up has been great. He is meticulous and his process efficient. I would recommend Dr. Stewart time and again.

Had 5 dislocation after he did surgery on me. Still can't walk 50 ft without pain. He tried to say it was my back . He sent me to his back guy. That doctor told me it wasn't my back it was my leg hip. The damage from all the dislocations muscle tenders and ligaments. I went back to him and he still was saying it wasn't my leg. He never tried to help me just wanted me to go away. Well the damage was so intense from that surgery ( which all dis location happen in a 4 month period after he performed surgery on me. I will never ever will be the same Please find another Dr. Please .

Arrogant and negative manner. Many put-downs. Numerous inappropriate behaviors for a professional physician.

Excellent surgeon who performed up-to-date robotic surgery on my knee. Everything about his practice is top notch. Highly recommend.

Our experience with this physician was very poor. He was dismissive, arrogant and disrespectful. He was only interested in billables; and it is clear that patient outcomes and experience were low on his priorities. Find one of the other very fine orthopedists in Sarasota!

From the beginning, professional, courteous and honest. I've been dealing with knee pain for almost a decade after retiring from the U.S. Army. Dr. Stewart performed my knee replacement and it has improved my quality of life dramatically. Loads of gratitude.

Excellent Doctor that does a great job. In fact, the whole support staff was great. Been 3 weeks since my hip joint was replaced and so far the outcome has been better than hoped. Highly recommend Dr. Stewart!

I can’t say enough great things about my total knee replacement performed by Dr Stewart! From start to finish it was perfect! NO PAIN AFTER SURGERY!! Easy PT done in my home! It has been 7 months now and I am totally pain free! I can’t say enough about Dr Stewart, his pre and post surgery protocol, his staff and the ease of the surgery!

Dr. Stewart replaced both of my hips at different times. He is a wonderful surgeon. He will not do surgery until all other options are exhausted. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!!!

I had the privlage of receiving care from Dr. Charles Stewart the past few months. I have been an RN for 45 years and 23 years in the Sarasota area. I do rate this Physicisn a 5 star because he delivers 5 star care. His bedside manor is exceptional. He and his entire office staff are highly efficient, warm and welcoming. I had a total hip replacement two weeks ago. My surgery was a huge success and I was walking 2 hours after getting to my room. I was walking without a cane after 1 week.

I have never been to a more friendly office that is so nice and caring about each patient. My hip surgery was done well with minimal pain. Very happy with the whole experience!!

Dr. Stewart was great before the surgery. After the surgery he was not the great. I had an issue my knee and leg was swollen. When I went for my appointment the Doctor’s behavior was awkward and upset. He was abrupt and bothered with my issue. This was the second time I saw after the surgery. After today's visit I will NOT go back to see Dr. Stewart or to do my other knee.

Very nice before surgery. Then blamed me for not doing well after surgery. He said if my attitude would be more positive, maybe I wouldn't have so much pain. That was the last time I went to him. He refuses to admit to doing something wrong in my surgery, even though other doctors I have seen say otherwise. Warning.....
