Would never recommend him to anyone, he advised me not to get a MRI on my knee after telling him it was unstable and wobbly to walk on. Waited 2 weeks and it didn't get better so I scheduled one and it revealed a torn ACL, torn meniscus and sprained MCL. I also mentioned this to a friend and he did the same thing to him. He's not to be trusted and always get a second opinion, if zero stars was an option that's what I would give.

I broke my ankle in 3 places and had it surgically repaired by Dr. Sommer. I have been a patient and have had numerous surgeries and I have to say I have NEVER felt more at ease with a surgeon in all my illnesses. He was nice, gentle, explained everything in detail and even showed me the xrays and gave me a detailed explanation of what he did and why. I would recommend this surgeon to anyone in need of ortho care in a heartbeat!
