Dr. Charles Scarborough, MD

Dr. Scarborough performed an outpatient breast biopsy at St. Francis Emory Breast Center on me. He didn’t know my name, nor history of my second ultrasound sizing and location referral for this visit. My wait time was more than 45 minutes for a 3minute pop in visit with a student to tell me I would be scheduled. On the day of my procedure late again, he ungloved gloved and took a cell call in the hallway while I laid exposed. On his return without any communication I was injected locally at the breast site, when I complained of pain he jabbed me two more times. My follow-up vs with a student, didn’t address me by name, didn’t look at the massive edematous bruised breast in 3 minutes told me after I request examination stated patients have had more worse than that. Wasted visited as I had reviewed my results on the patient portal. I will “Never” use him again and advise you seek a more professional surgeon should you ever need this procedure. Billed for a long visit on my EOB.

I went to see Dr. Scarborough for a lump that was just under my skin on top of my breast. He told me he would do an ultrasound the following week. He could have done it that day, but of course then he wouldn't get paid for an extra visit. So I went back the next week only to be told that my lump was too close to my lungs to be seen on ultrasound. He wanted me to have surgery instead for a biopsy. I went to a breast cancer surgeon instead of a general surgeon like he is and got an ultrasound.

Dr. Scarborough is easy to talk with concerning your condition. My surgery went very well and I highly recommend him.
