Outstanding psychiatrist and human being
I saw Dr Reagan for a period of time in 2012. He saved my life. He was the first person besides my parents who helped me with my early life trauma. I was adopted from war-torn Vietnam as a toddler. He was kind, professional, and nonjudgemental and for the first time helped me understand how what I had been through made me feel. He also saw me as a whole person and helped me get the cardiac care I so desperately needed. I am forever in his debt.

Dr. Reagan is unprofessional in his approach and his office staff seem borderline incompetent. The office is dirty and smells of dog. The office staff are unprepared for visits and have double-booked my time slot on two of five appointments. Even their answering service had me hold so she could get a pen!!! Dr. , however, is experienced in treating my condition, seems truly caring and is the only provider taking new patients in the area.

Can't remember what he has prescribed to me, suggesting the same medication three times. i finally ended up telling me what to prescribe for me. i have absolutely no confidence in his meds management. Likes to talk about totally irrelevant subjects. Takes the office manager forever to make an appointment, seeming to be unable to navigate a data base that she have learned by now. If you are afraid of dogs, he has one of the biggest dogs I have ever seen in the office.

The office smells like dirty dogs. He never shuts up about his own problems and his war stories. He's a pretty angry and impatient doctor.

I appreciated his transparency in explaining his approach to psychiatry at the first visit. He seemed inclined to identify issues that I did not put forth, however, and that made it feel less person-centered than I prefer. Obtaining medication refills was not easy and his receptionist/admin assistant was not especially courteous or good about following-through with requests. That said, this is a small community and there are very few choices for psychiatry.
