Best Psychiatrist Ever
Dr Charles Raele was a Surgeon before becoming a Psychiatrist. He is beyond brilliant and creative. Due to this, he helped me out of the dark hole of depression I was in for years. The reason he is late is because he gives everyone of his patients the time they need. In no way is he arrogant he just talks out loud what he’s thinking and will gladly explain if asked. Front desk is outstanding!

Dr. Raele is a kind person. He listens, then tells it like it is. He's extremely knowledgeable about all things new in the medical field. He and his staff smile often. But if I could only use one word to describe Dr. Raele, it'd be, again, that he's kind. And in today's world, there just isn't enough kindness.

What can I say—this is a tough speciality that doesn’t always get the recognition deserved. I’m from NYC & was horrified by the way psychiatry is administered in Florida. Then I met Dr Raele. He’s not your typical psychiatrist. For starters, he’s incredibly bright—he knows medicine. He’s interested in treating the whole patient. But what was most unusual is that unlike other psychiatrists I met in Florida, he actually takes the time to speak with you. He’s fantastic and I wouldn’t use anyone else (even if I have to wait a little longer to see him). Great physician.

I've been seeing Dr. Raele religiously since I was in middle school so it's been almost 10 years. He's the best psychiatrist I've been to by far and I would recommend him to anyone who asks me about who I go to. Now living in Tennessee, I don't get to visit him as much but any time I go home, I make sure to set an appointment so I can give him updates and we can see how I've coped being so far. Dr. Raele cares about my well being more than any doctor I've dealt with. He's worked with me through medication trials, swings in issues and once I was ready to try not being on medication, he made sure I did it safely and monitored me in case I needed to get back on them. Dr. Raele at this point in my life is not just a psychiatrist to me, he's played a big part in my growth and how I handle my day to day struggles.

If I could give Dr. Raele zero stars I would without hesitation. During a 4 day hospital stay, he diagnosed me with "psychosis" on paper but told my parents that I was experiencing First Episode Schizophrenia. Miraculously, he came to that conclusion over the span of a few days based on only a handful of interviews with me during my stay. Typically, symptoms are observed for several months or years before an accurate diagnosis of schizophrenia can be made. That was certainly not the case in my e

Terrible patient experience that no one else should have to put up with. Never returns calls or notifies patients of diagnosis and recommendations. Rude and thinks he is better and above everyone else since he is a doctor. Do not use him.
