Dr. Charles Onyeama, MB BS

Dr Onyeama is great, I give him 5 stars! He's wonderful with my son, unfortunately his staff doesn't match up with his persona. Brittany and Lakita (not sure of spelling) refuse to let me speak with the Doctor, and I assume my messages aren't being delivered. I had a fall out with Lakita and Brittany fired me as a patient. Dr. Onyeama gave them too much power. They were drunk with power. Lastly, I've repeatedly requested my son's medical records for the past 3 weeks, prior to the fall out to no avail. Staff is unprofessional, any recommendations on how I can obtain my sons medical records without contacting an attorney?? I love Dr Onyeama and I don't want to do that to him, but his staff leave me no choice.

Dr. O is my teen daughters pediatrician for the last few years. He has been excellent! Dr. O not only treats the illness, but has taken the time to listen to my daughters concerns through the years and advise her on wellness and growing up, and has encouraged her to communicate confidently with him. She was not easy to win over! We have great confidence in Dr. O.

Let me 1st say that no clinic is perfect and no doctor is either. We love this doctor and the staff! We have been with him since before he started his own practice. We drive over an hour just to be seen. He is very knowledgeable and care for the entire family. I or my family wouldn't have it anyway. We support this doctor, his staff and the practice. I would highly advise you to give this clinic a chance and see for yourself.

Terrible. Bait and switch billing, dishonest billing.

Update update *will be filling a grievance, and appeal due to dishonest billing practices and non-transparent business practices, after reading other reviews and this happening to many many other people The best thing is to throw out as many red flags as possible so there is an investigation into this practice* Update *Britt a n y is who I spoke to on the phone. She said it’s common practice for the doctor to look for something wrong during a well check and bill you for it if he can find anything without the parents asking about it or shows concern about it. Life threatening issue is understandable, but dry skin??!! This was scheduled as a well check to get shots but the doctor is money hungry and will find anyway to bill you. In this case a little dry skin on my daughters elbow, doctor said add lotion “duh!” That’s the advice he charged me $120 for. This places billing department is worse than a collection agency. He is a great pediatrician

Great doc! Very caring and nuturing. Responds to requests on time. Opinions are always honest. Highly recommend.

The doctor did not have a great bedside manner. He was halfway out the door as I was asking him questions. The staff was rude and uncaring. One routine appointment took almost two hours with two kids under three waiting. Gave them three chances and then found another doctor.
