Wonderful Doctor
Dr.Johnson is a wonderful Dr. And a wonderful human being. I have sent my brother to him I would send anyone to him .I thank God for him.My twin sons also go to him.

He is quiet and reserved but he saved my husband's life by refusing to give up testing until he found out what was the cause of anemia. It turned out my husband had a very rare form of cancer that usually is not found until it is too late.

Dr. Johnson has been my physician for 20 years. He has always been kind, patient and thorough explaining any medical concern or medication he is prescribing. Dr. Johnson listens to me when I have questions and I think believes that a patient knows their own body and does not discount your concerns.

I would not recommend Dr. Johnson. I was difficult to get an appointment after he changed medication I'd been talking for 25 years. I'm not sure if the Medication he's giving me is a problem or I'm suffering from withdrawal as he never explained what and why how was doing it. I'm lucky enough to have a daughter who is a nurse who has helped me. I called his office twice without a return call then called his night service. They called me back, not him and was ER or call the office the next day.

I had been a long time patient of Commonwealth Family Physicians. My doctor retired, and I was transferred to Dr. Johnson, a DO, I might add, not an MD. He was flip, arrogant, condescending and rude. He acted like he'd rather be anywhere else and that the patient was nothing more than a pain in his a$&. He was hard to schedule appointments with, failed to respond to pharmacy requests, and he cancelled last minute appointments saying he was overbooked. I ended up having to find a new doctor.
