Dr. Charles Guglin, MD

I recently reached out to Dr. Charles Guglin seeking therapy options for a dear friend who is dealing with the aftermath of a broken wrist, specifically inflammation and nerve pain. Initially, I found him to be somewhat understanding. He even mentioned that they could offer an appointment within a week. However, our interaction took a disappointing turn.Instead of focusing on the PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment we were interested in, Dr. Guglin began to push a variety of other therapies that we had not inquired about. His approach felt very much like that of a snake oil salesman. He offered an odd deal to provide one of these alternative treatments for free, yet still suggested we might consider PRP. When I reiterated that we were leaning towards PRP, Dr. Guglin went on a tirade that reeked of medical arrogance. He belittled my research into treatment options by stating, 'I don’t need a Google Doctor' to tell me what treatments are best, implying that any information I gathere
