Dr. Charles-Eric Hotte, MD

Dr. Hotte helped more than any other doctor when my husband was sick ,,, after seeing many other specialists I called Dr. Hotte office, explained my problem , quickly had an appointment , he did an endoscopy and found my husband’s esophageal cancer. I’ve been going to him for many many years prior but wish I would have started with him. My husband passed. Although I have moved 4 hours away, I still travel back to his office as needed. He’s caring, takes his time to listen and is very thorough. Bedside manner is great. I would recommend Dr. Hotte to family and friends in a heartbeat.

I went for my first visit with Dr. Hotte being referred to him by my primary. He was kind and understanding and not alarming. He explained everything and ordered tests that will assist him in his ultimate diagnosis. He had a young female doctor assisting him who was very kind and caring. I feel very confident in his care.

Do not trust any diagnosis from this doctor. I had an endoscopy with him in July and he diagnosed me with gastritis. I continued to experience terrible pain. It is now August, and I have been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Thank God I immediately went for a second opinion. I am sure Dr Hott is a very nice gentleman, but my experience with him as a doctor was terrible.

Very deceptive pricing. Expect a huge bill after procedure

He provided a diagnoses of early crohn's disease immediately after performing a colonoscopy, then recommended a genetic test to confirm his diagnosis to a lab in CA even though I'd never had symptoms of crohns and the test confirmed I likely didn't have a problem. The OON test cost me over $700 when an in-network test was available locally; when questioned, his nurse (Cathy) said the test wasn't available locally (but it was) and the practice did not provide financial relief for their mistake.
