Doc is Good Billing Department not so much
Dr Burns is good, however, my insurance was filed incorrectly and when I called the office they assured me they would get it fixed.... I just got a collection letter in the mail which I am trying to handle, so I wouldnt recommend unless your paying completely out of your own pocket.

I have been in the area for only 2 years, and have gotten to know Dr. Burns since I retired and moved here. A very caring, bright, and compassionate Doctor. Even though I've known him for only 2 years, he treats me like I've been going to him for all my life. I feel very lucky to be associated with him!

My husband had severe heart problems before he became a patient of Dr. Burns; he had little hope of a joyful or long life. Dr. Burns took the time to direct him to a better life over the last ten years, always caring for my husband in a patient and dedicated manner. Dr. Burns is bright, forthright and straightforward in everything he has told us, never misleading us. Now in his 70s, my husband is grateful to be his patient. Several of his buddies are Dr. Burns patients; all have said they appreciate his candor and medical knowledge.

Proceed with caution.. No compassion, patient profiling, diagnosed me as fat.. Dr Burns told me he could help me lose my ten pound melon head and my double chin, turkey neck! Lack of bedside manner.. Yes I believe so

I have been seeing Dr. Burns for years. He is one of the leading, if not the best Cardiologists in Huntsville. He has always gone the extra mile to work me into the schedule and has taken excellent care of me. He genuinely cares about, and for his patients, one and all. He takes the time to explain results of tests in a manner that is understandable to lay vocabularies such as mine. He is probably the most accomplished person I have ever met.

Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT even think about seeing this arrogant and curt doctor. He has the God complex in addition to ordering tests that are not necessary. After tests were completed, he wasn't even able to explain the results in a manner that could be understood. From what I have been told, he was asked to leave The Heart Center practice. Wish I had known before seeing him. Proceed with much caution!
