Unresponsive to family concerns
Dr. Benner is the medical director of a skilled nursing facility, and his wife is the other physician at the facility. While their medical care is sufficient, they do not make themselves available to families to answer questions or otherwise speak about their loved ones; it's a "hit or miss" situation to catch them on the floor. I used to work as a social worker in a nursing home and know the challenges for staff, but I feel there's no excuse for their unresponsiveness.
