Dr. Charles Athill, MD

After my ablation operation at Kaiser, I was informed that my tachycardia was likely “incurable” and nothing else could be done. I went for a second opinion and went to Dr. Athill. Dr. Athill performed a epicardial ablation (never even mentioned by Kaiser Doctors) and it was a complete success. I have returned to my regular life of exercise, mountain biking, and skiing. I cannot say enough to express my appreciation for the wonderful care under Dr. Athill. I would not hesitate in referring my family and friends to Dr. Athill

While accompanying my husband to his appointment with Dr. Athill I asked him for a recommendation for a cardiologist or if he was the doctor I should see. Since I’d never been diagnosed by a cardio doc and he’s a specific kind of cardio specialist I didn’t think he would take me on as a patient. Surprisingly he asked me what I was experiencing, I told him, he said to wait a few minutes and a nurse came in and did an ekg on me. He returned, read the ekg, told me what he thought was going on & ordered 3 tests for me & a monitor to wear. After I completed all of the tests I saw him again & he was correct about the diagnosis on the day we first spoke!! Dr. Athill is extremely knowledgeable & has a marvelous bedside manner, he answers all questions in a way that you can understand & really put our minds at ease. His office staff are all friendly and helpful too. We both highly recommend this doctor.

I’m quite sure he saved the quality of my life, if not my life itself. Highly recommend.

Scheduler:cold, rude, lecturing. How’s that for someone who needs help when they’re anguishing about an emergency level AFib? Dr. Athill - you seem nice in your video. Please advise your lions at the gate. It’s painful to be vulnerable with heart problems and deal with bad personalities. Would’ve been nice if office people had a good heart, Doctor. Kindness goes a long way. I’d guess that you would have wanted your father to be treated well. My grown children worry and want that for me too.

Amazing doctor!!! Professional, caring and brilliant! Dr. Athill took a long time explaining about my procedure and even had me watch a video and gave me a sample device to inspect to make sure I understood everything involved in my care. His intelligence and knowledge is staggering. This man really knows his business and has a God given gift. I am thankful that he is my doctor. He is saving my life and I am grateful and trust him completely.

Dr. Athill is a concerned courteous physician, exceptionally well trained and very competent . Both my wife and I have been patients and continue under his care. We have no complaints. We would both recomend him highly.
