Doc not skilled with working with children.

I found Dr. Charlene to be very inexperienced with working with children. It was clear that her demeanor that she either did not like working with children or she hated her job. There was no smiles, just a pure stern-like attitude which really turned us off. We sat waiting for her for over 20 minutes and when she got into our room she spent less than 4 minutes to take a look at my daughter's eye. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatric ophtalmologist.

Highly recommended

Dr. Crockett performed surgery on my left eye to correct a misalignment. She was kind and professional and she answered all my questions thoroughly. We will miss her in Houston.If there is one thing to correct is the waiting times for patients. You schedule the appointment at one time but you see the doctor 1 hour later because there is always overbooking.

Great diagnostician

Dr. Crockett was able to diagnose and correct a prism imbalance in my husband’s eyes. After 5 visits and consultations with other doctors, we were finally referred to her. He can finally drive again without seeing 2 of everything in his peripheral vision. Thank you!!!

Awful

Have seen her 3 times now for my infant’s strabismus and she is extremely dismissive and has zero bedside manner. Each visit has been a waste of time as she states she cannot do much unless my child has an episode at the office, which is absolutely ridiculous. I would not waste my time with this doctor.
