I brought my son in through the ER and thank God that Dr McCalla came into our room. The PA who saw us first was about to send us away, but Dr McCalla knew in less than 10 minutes what was wrong with my son. A rare illness that most people never heard of and affects only about 1 in a million children in the U.S. My son was admitted overnight but was in the hospital for 8 days as his illness was severe. Even though my son didn't look sick, the doctor had the knowledge to see what no one else did
