Double Total Hip Replacements--Life Changing!
To say that my experience with Dr Chad Efird was absolutely life changing is a complete understatement! After being in excruciating pain 24-7 for nearly 7 years, and totally bedridden for 2 to 3 years, I am happy to say that I am now living a completely normal life once again, free from pain, free from the use of a cane or walker, following the complete replacement of both my left and right hips. Everybody on Dr. EFIRD's staff is an absolute professional in every way! I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you.

Partial Shoulder Replacement and Torn Pec repair
Dr Effird is amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. Made every effort to get me into his office and examined asap. Even though therapy and aftercare has been a long journey, I am very pleased with the work he did and the results so I can get back to the gym and enjoying life with my kids.

Talks the talk.
He acts very confident, but in fact he is over confident! After 3 months L complained to my Cox Branson physiotherapist that it felt like l had one leg longer than the other, so he measured them & guess what, the leg l had the hip replaced was almost an inch shorter than the other. (both the same length prior to surgery) I mentioned this at my last visit with Dr Efird & he TOTALLY denied it & tried to say l have scoliosis in my back that has caused me to walk differently!! What can you do? We aren't allowed to sue them, & they write down on their paperwork that the hip replacement was a success. So Dr Efird continues to swagger around the hospital like he's someone special!!

I broke my hip (femur)vertically and horizontally. He put me all back together again. An excellent surgeon/doctor with a big heart. I appreciated how empathic he was.

Good for immediate care, but not too much for the long haul. So, if you just have a break that needs to be set, I can highly recommend him. If you have something that needs care lasting more than 6 or 7 months, find someone who is more willing to commit to long term.

Dr. Efird completed a carpal tunnel release on my right hand. It went perfectly. He is very personable, and took good care of me. I would recommend him as a surgeon for this procedure without reservation. I also found his office and nursing staff to be very friendly and helpful. We moved here from Houston, Texas. It's a premiere area of the USA for medical care. I feel Dr. Efird did a comparable job to any doctor I've had in Houston including 3 other types of surgery.

After my knee surgery to fix minuscus, mri found my inner miniscus had been tore- same knee. I had told him right after surgery about the inner knee hurting at his incision spotand he ignored it so I got my MRI and they found a tear in exact spot he entered with microscopic scope!! I do NOT recommend going to him AT ALL!
