Dr Edwards has been wonderful for the last year and a half I’ve been under his care. I’ve seen two other addiction specialists and he has far exceeded them. I recommend him to anyone. He takes the time to listen to you and genuinely cares. I don’t understand these low rated reviews. I can’t say enough about how great he is. Keep up the great work, Dr. Edwards.

I don’t understand these previous reviews. Dr. Cedric Edwards has literally saved my life. The appointment times haven’t been too bad. I actually sit and read, and I don’t mind if I have to wait, which I never had to wait too long. He actually takes the time with his patients, to talk with you, and listen to you. He is very attentive. And if he’s listening to other patients and taking his time, I’m OK with that, because I appreciate him taking the time to listen to me. As far as cutting down on the Suboxone after a few months, Suboxone wasn’t meant to be long-term technically, but he doesn’t just cut you off. It’s a very slow process and each patient is different based on what they need. All I can say is that he has literally saved my life, and I felt it fair that someone leave a five star review because he deserves it. Plus, these reviews are older, so I don’t know what was going on then, but I can say now, five stars all the way.

First time patients, make your appointment for as early as possible and be the first one there. You will STILL go in AFTER everyone else, though. Then he drags it out and takes forever to finish the appointment. They won't fill your paperwork out correctly for your insurance to cover your meds. This happened to me and two other people that I know personally. If you want your insurance to pay for your meds, you'll have to go back to his office and insist they fill it out, and fill it out correctly. They will let this go on for months if you don't speak up. Your first visit, you will either get one half film per day, or one and a half 2mg tablets per day. That's it. After a few months, he'll start talking about cutting you off. If this is okay with you, go for it. You have been warned.

This doctor doesn't listen at all! Not a good doctor! If you have him I'd recommend changing doctors!
