Dr. Catherine Law, MD

In reading some of the bad reviews here, I cant imagine Dr. Law being anything other than a sweetheart. I had my first appointment with her today and I was delighted to find that she was not only very knowledgeable, but she was very sweet and concerned about my heart health as well. She answered all my questions and changed my medication when I told her I was having side effects from my previous medicine. I walked out of there very glad that I had made an appointment with her. I would highly recommend her.

I don't know how anyone could give Dr Law a poor rating. She is so easy to talk to and I am quite sure she is competent in her field. I would definitely recommend her to my friends. She uses her time efficiently and gives honest answers and suggestions that may save your life.

My husband needed a cardiac clearance before an outpatient surgery in May. We had never met Dr. Law before but were very impressed with her thorough examination and testing. BTW, he passed with flying colors.

This is a cardiologist who dismisses your concerns, doesn't take time to listen to heart sounds (held stethoscope to my chest for 3 seconds), didn't listen to my carotid arteries. Definitely didn't listen to my concerns... I went in with complaint of chest pain with exertion, had recent TIA, have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She stated "I don't think your chest pain is cardiac related, I will see you in two months". DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS DOCTOR!

Please don't take down keeps pushing for surgery even though you refuse and wants to try other methods other than surgery then she refuses you as a patient

Dr. Catherine Law failed to listen to my health concerns. She was not open-minded as to issues that may be caused by the Rx medications. I never had the opportunity to present my issues of Dry eyes and Dry mouth, that seem to be relative to BP Rx medications. She did not take sufficient time with me to consider changing Rx meds - Ultimately she DISMISSED me as a patient without making a recommendation for another Cardiologist from her Florida heart group or from outside FL Heart. When I needed to have an appointment in March 2019, she was fully scheduled with "snow-bird" patients, even though I also needed to see her at that time. Her defense was that the other patients had a higher priority than my needs at that time. I considered my health need to be equal to any other patient and should not be pushed to the back of the schedule. I do not know if this incidence was in keeping with the business model that Florida Heart has - - - or just Dr. Law's way of handling my issues.

Worst bed side manner cant answer questions about my heart arithmia. Talks over you and leavs room with out even answering questions. Total waste of time did not care about my concerns. Looking for new doctor. I think she needs to work on her bedside manner and get more schooling if she specializes in cardiology and cannot answer question about arithmia and why
