Dr. Catherine Deluca, MD

This physician was not invested in my health or well-being. Her physical was the least thorough I have ever had. She does not listen. She asks the same questions over that you just answered minutes before. Very unhelpful and extremely self-focused. She does not seem very skilled or competent especially with complex patients. She has yet to adequately address any medical concern, question or problem I have brought to her attention. She is so unhelpful that on the list visit, I just gave up trying with her and I realize I need to find another doctor.

In my opinion, Dr. DeLuca, did not care or listen to medical issues. It is also my opinion that she judges and discriminates.

She is the best of the best. At my age, you know one when you see one and I trust her more than anyone professional I have ever met or now know. You see, she has kept me from dying, twice now, and that kind of sticks with you. Please get a chance to see her so you can remember what "doctoring" was back in the day.

My husband and I have been her patients since we moved here 10 yrs ago. Dr DeLuca discovered lung cancer during a routine check up. She is skilled, inquisitive, thorough and listens and doesn’t rush through your appointment.

Dr. Deluca is an excellent clinician. The Dr. makes assessment and orders tests not only regarding your current complaints but related to other diagnoses. This takes more time than doctors I saw at a major urban hospitals are ALLOWED to devote to a patient. You can go to MED school where you are accepted but only the very best are privileged to go to Univ. Of Penn and Jefferson Univ. as Dr. Deluca did. I consider myself a fortunate lad indeed to have Dr. Deluca as my doctor!

There is no other Doctor anywhere that has her skill set. She saved my life by being proactive. She is friendly and for all the AARP folks out there, she listens to you. She, in addition, has excellent staff that are both proficient and friendly. To put a finer point on it, if she moved; I'd move.

I like Dr. Deluca a lot. I hate going to Mid-Atlantic Family Practice. Their patient wifi hasn't worked in years, but appears to be available because they "don't know the password" to remove it. Appointments never run on time--I've never seen a doctor within 1 hour of my actual appointment time. Nurses are hit or miss for follow up. The place is a mess and always seems harried. MAFP needs to focus on patients more than profits. I'm following Dr Deluca to Wagner & Prigg.

On a personal level, I really like Dr. Deluca. That being said, today I waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for a visit that was scheduled 6 months ago. This isn't atypical. Generally Dr. Deluca is always behind on appointments and results in a hurried examination. I did get a good 20 minutes to address the things on my list. Since I am a senior citizen who has some health issues, 20 minutes once a year isn't enough.
