Not Angry, Just Honest
Anytime I brought my child into Dr. Cogley, there wasn’t a genuine effort to make them comfortable. The appointment always felt rushed and my child was left, honestly, a little traumatized from the rushed treatment and examination that’s ultimately very personal to any little person. They hate going to the doctor or any offices (which isn’t meant to be/sound melodramatic, but as their pediatrician, that’s the only doctor my child would meet with any regularity), despite my efforts to give positive associations with these places because these places are inherently meant to be positive and helpful to children. It leaves me saddened and confused on why you would seek to practice pediatrics if this is the attitude and practice you take when a child expresses discomfort during general appointments.

My childrem have been seeing Dr. Cogley for 13 years now. She's always been very attentive to all my concerns and listens to my reservations on particular treatments. I've never felt hurried or pushed to do something I didn't want to do. Very personable and great with kids.

Our daughter was born with Down Syndrome. We were waiting on the results of the formal blood test and it was stressful. The receptionist called me on the phone chewed gum and said, "Your baby has tested positive for Down Syndrome." Like our baby had AIDS or Ebola. I asked her why Dr. Cogley didn't have us into the office or tell us in person, she just popped her gum into the phone and said we could come in for a visit to discuss if "wanted." We left this heartless practice. Not classy.

Dr. Cogley is lovely! My son has seen her since Dr. Reimer retired 8 or 9 years ago. Her bedside manner is perfect for kids, and she is thorough and respectful in her dealings with us as parents.
