Not Kind
Was very rude when I asked about changing my prescription to the generic instead of what I originally had because my insurance had changed. Not what I expected coming from a "trained professional"

Kicked to the curb
I've had her as a doctor since I was born. I haven't visited in 3 years so now I'm considered a new patient. She is not accepting new patients. I no longer have the doctor I've had since birth that has literally seen me grow over 35 years. Unbelievable

The worst
She has to be hands down the worst doctor on the planet. If you are thinking about seeing her please think again. The worst bed side manors ever. This doctor picks and chooses who she wants to help. I need a ceiling fan because I live on the second floor at my apartment complex and my medicine causes trouble breathing and shortness of breath and she said no it doesn't. Those are the side effects. I had a mask on at my appointment and got transportation to my visit and had to wear a mask in the car and at her office and she said it was not the mask, people run marathons wearing a mask and have no problems breathing. I guess she checks all the runners. I can't believe she calls herself a doctor.

I had Dr. Bittenbender as my PCP for years. She gaslit me on all my mental health issues and blamed everything else on my weight instead of doing further testing. No medical issues were ever explained to me. I was just given a prescription and sent on my way. My most recent doctors are all appalled at how my health was dealt with. I would never want anyone to see this woman.

Cassandra Bittenbender is hands down the worst medical experience i have ever had. i visited this office since i was in high school, so did my parents, and even my grandmother at times. but dr Cassandra made wildly inaccurate assumptions about me because i have chronic migraines and needed help getting a neurologist, mri refferal, whatever i needed to do. She also refused to help me make accommodations with my job, who were trying to work with me in regards to my migraines. because of her treatment i cried for days. she was humiliating and traumatizing to me to the point that i am scared to visit another practitioner in fear of being unheard and mistreated. this event was in 2019. i've told my family of this, and everyone who asks for a dr recomendation who is new to the area, i make sure to let them know about this circumstance as well. i have dealt with migraines since i was a child as documented in my chart. I will never return

I was a patient for many years. Customer service went to crap about two years ago -- way before Covid hit. I found another doctor because I got so fed up with leaving voicemail after voicemail with no return call EVER! My husband sees Dr. Mike and it's the same problem.

I have had several office visits with Dr. Casey, and - without exception - they have been wonderful. She is compassionate, likable, knowledgeable, caring, gentle, intuitive and professional. She is also a very effective problem solver and an active listener. Thank you, Dr. Casey, for the help that you have given my Wife, my Daughter and me over the years. Michael Stallings, Floyds Knobs

I have been seeing Dr Casey Bittenbender for many years now. She has always been thorough and professional but also caring and willing to take time for you. She has always responded to messages I have left. The only negative is that her appointments book up quickly so it’s hard to get in to see her for impromptu issues. However Melissa Baker is usually easy to get into and is also wonderful.

This practice may accept over 30 insurance plans but it doesn't matter how many you accept if you treat your patients like crap. Thanks for not returning not only one of my phone calls but two!!!

I have been a patient of another Doctor in this practice for over 6 years. He left and I called Dr. Kasey Bittenbender hoping to get some help with a sudden painful condition. She did call back until several hours later (the end of the day) and advised I go to either an urgent care or ER. Thanks for the lack of concern and care. I had always heard that the other doctors in this practice were rude and uncaring and now I see these rumors were correct.

I had received Tri-Nessa Lo instead of Tri-Nessa due to an error with my pharmacy, and called the office to see what was going on. Her assistant proceeded to tell me that Tri-Nessa Lo does not exist because Dr. Bittenbender didn't know of it and she's a doctor. This is not my first time having problems with getting my prescriptions, and I have never had an issue getting my prescriptions until I started seeing her regularly. The way I was treated certainly does not help the matter.
