I had a deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Caryn, a pediatrician who seemed to take advantage of our vulnerable state during a challenging time. We were aware that she does not accept insurance, and we were okay with that when we made the appointment. However, her office recommended a genetic test, assuring us that it would only cost around $300 to $400 out of pocket. We agreed to proceed, trusting that we were making an informed decision. To our surprise, after completing the paperwork, they asked for our insurance information, claiming it might help with costs. This felt misleading from the start. Weeks later, we received a staggering bill for $3,951, even after our insurance covered 80% of the total cost. This experience has left us feeling exploited and frustrated, especially during a time when we were already emotionally drained. I urge others to think twice before stepping into Dr. Caryn's office, as it seems that financial transparency and ethical practices are not a priority there. It's crucial to be cautious and fully understand the potential costs before proceeding with any recommendations.

I set an appointment for my daughter months in advance. In November my daughter had a specific issue and when I called to see if I could have her seen sooner the office person said dr garriga doesn’t manage her type of crisis and I was directed to go to an emergency room. I told them to cancel our January appointment at that time. January rolls around and I receive an email regarding the appointment I called to cancel it reminding the office I cancelled in November. The next day I get a call that I will be charged a cancellation fee!!! I cancelled the appointment in NOVEMBER!

Dr. Garriga is an amazing doctor. My son has been bounced around to various mental health professionals since the age of 2, and has received mixed diagnoses and treatment plans. Dr. Garriga was able to identify his appropriate diagnosis upon her initial evaluation, and has provided a treatment plan that is finally working for him. My family is so appreciative of her expertise and genuine care for my son's wellbeing.

Dr. Garriga is excellent at determining patient diagnosis. When my previous PCP had told me my son was just an energetic, typical boy I knew she was incorrect. What I suspected was severe ADHD turned out to be both ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome. If I had not visited Dr. Garriga I would never have known. She takes great time to ensure that all of our questions are answered before we leave each visit. Her office staff is very professional and responsive. I highly recommend this practice.
