I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the professional conduct of Dr. Carrie Latrelle Stalling, MD, License #63028, who has been assigned as my treating physician. While I acknowledge Dr. Stalling’s medical expertise and knowledge, I have found that her interpersonal skills and approach to patient care are deeply lacking, particularly when it comes to fostering trust, empathy, and open communication. Throughout my interactions with Dr. Stalling, I have experienced a consistent pattern of behavior that has been disheartening and troubling. In particular, her communication style has been dismissive, condescending, and, at times, insensitive. Despite the sensitive nature of my medical concerns, I often felt that Dr. Stalling lacked the necessary compassion to genuinely connect with me as a patient. Her interactions left me feeling unheard, misunderstood, and unsupported. While I appreciate the technical knowledge she brings to her medical practice, I believe that effective patient care requires a balance of both clinical skill and empathetic communication. Unfortunately, Dr. Stalling’s conduct did not reflect this balance, and her lack of sensitivity made a difficult medical situation even more challenging for me. Given the importance of trust in the doctor-patient relationship, I feel it is crucial for Dr. Stalling’s behavior to be reviewed. I am hopeful that my feedback will contribute to enhancing the patient experience for others who may be under her care, particularly those facing complex and vulnerable medical situations. I am grateful for the time and attention the Office of Professional Standards devotes to listening to and addressing patients’ concerns. I trust that my feedback is taken seriously .

Horrible experiences over and over...this one was the last straw. 2.5+ hours for a mamo and ultra then another wait to see the PA. Then I asked to see the doc and more waiting. I finally left. The poor girl who works for Stallings tried to get me to make a Part 2 appt but I fell for that last year. NO MORE Buyer beware...we are paying them but it sure doesn't seem that way.

Fed Up Patient – Aug 20, 2021

Dr. Stallings performed a lumpectomy on me. I was adamant that she get everything on the first surgery and she did. The scar is minimal and the results great. She is good at explaining all possible options and presenting all sides and possibilities. I would definitely go back to her if there was a recurrence. I've read negatives about the BCS office in general but have had no problems getting in and out for appointments.
