As a local foster mom I have had the opportunity to take several of my children to Dr. fire stone Baum. She has always been extremely knowledgeable and willing to do what it takes to help my kids.I truly appreciate her.

Dr. Firestone Baum was fabulous! I suspected my daughter was having lactose intolerance issues. The doctor was first of all very personable and felt girlfriend-y :). She was able to quickly walk us through her diagnosis and educate us on how to keep it under control. Her focus was keeping the diagnostic process minimally invasive. I feel so comfortable with how to alter just a few things to keep my daughter healthy!

Love this Doc! – May 19, 2021

First visit with my 2 month old she explained everything thoroughly and answered every question I had. She asked for weekly updates and responded in a timely manner. Very kind and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this doctor.

Dr. Firestone was comforting to my child and to me and always goes above and beyond. She diagnosed the problem and helped us fix it. Would recommend 100 times.

At my 5 year old's 2nd appt, She did not palpate my child's belly or listen for bowel sounds. I left feeling for a second time, that my child had not been treated well. I obtained her consult note from my child's pediatrician. She listed that his bowel sounds were normal, abdomen was soft, heart sounds were normal....and so on. SHE NEVER TOUCHED HIM. (I have been a nurse for 17 years) I am going to Ochsner's hospital this week to file a formal complaint. Do not see this doctor.
