My first visit last week with Dr Bender was a pleasure . Great one on one, partially because someone else is doing the computer work which gives her a chance to connect with the patient , that she does well ! Also very impressed with a possible diagnosis of an issue I’ve had for a year now !

Very nice person but she has missed so many of my health issues the last few years and continues to do so. She cannot put all of the pieces together and only looks at #'s on a chart and not combining that with actual symptoms and history. An example is a few years ago I had debilitating abdominal pain and IBS. Bloodwork showed anemia and vitamin D deficiency and she sent me on my way not worried. A few months later after not being able to walk and doing my own investigating, I went to my gynecologist and was in surgery having a hysterectomy for huge uterine fibroids and she also missed the celiac disease that I was diagnosed with by a different doctor after he actually listened to my symptoms.

Dr. Bender is the nicest doctor I've ever met. I've been having chronic fatigue problems for years, and my previous doctor pretty much gave up trying to find the root of the problem. Dr. Bender did additional bloodwork that my other doc never did and recommended a specialist for me. She took the time to understand my issue and read my records. Really thankful.

Thoughtful, patient, and most important of all HUMAN. Acts like a real person and sees you as a human being. Asked lots of questions to get the overall picture of my health. Truly felt taken care of.
