Wouldn't Recommend
Dr Gilbertson was absolutely no help. I brought my son in after having a temp for over 72 hours. Temperature had been as high as 104. She asked no questions, didn't want to take his blood, did not do a physical exam beyond looking at ears, nose, and throat. When I asked if we could draw blood I was told, "It wont change how we treat it." My concerns of tick born illness, meningitis, etc were dismissed and ignored with no explanation. I finally requested she do a blood draw. She tells me it is a viral infection although after consulting other health care professionals they agree it probably isn't viral based on the lab work she didn't want to do in the first place.

Dr. Gilbertson was very unhelpful and uncaring. She didn’t listen to me or even try to solve the problem at the apt. It is vital to listen to the patients’ symptoms in order to correctly diagnose them. I received no helpful treatment and had to keep calling the office myself. Doctors are supposed to help people. Very disappointed in Dr. Gilbertson. I’ve never been treated that way by a doctor.

I would not recommend Dr Carolyn Gilbertson to anyone. She is not courteous, does not "listen", and refuses to refer for a second opinion upon request.

I'm looking for a new primary care dr and decided to see Dr Gilbertson. I went in for two issues-headaches and a sore throat. When she got to the exam room she immediately looked at my chart, saw my medications I take and abruptly said she "won't ever prescribe me Xanax". I wasn't there for a Xanax prescription or to even discuss my anxiety. I go to a psychiatrist for that. I was there to get a strep test and flu shot. Her comment seemed very unnecessary.
