She was very cold & uncaring. I was there for her to go over my CT scan. She had no idea why I was there. She had not looked at my chart or testing prior to entering the room. She was very abrupt. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Missed fallopian tube cancer
She took baby steps in diagnosing me and cost me months in having fallopian tube cancer diagnosed (elsewhere), when a simple MRI would have revealed. I went to Dana-Farber by way of Brigham realizing she was not figuring out what was wrong and was immediately diagnosed properly.

I was referred to her by my primary care and was told that it would only be a first time consoltation without an exam. That is what I expected. I like to get to know what is going to happen before I arrive. When I got there it all changed she wanted to examine me. I told her what my primary hd said she refused to listen. I stuck to my ground and did not let her examine me. She was very cold I rescheduled and that did not go well either. She charged my insurance for an exam she did not give me which was wrong of her to do. She was the absolute worst Dr. I have ever gone to see. There are great Doctors out there do your research and read lots. Of reviews across different sites to make an informative decision.

I'm not sure what happened the day of my visit but I certainly wasn't treated by the "kind, compassionate" doctor that the other patients here refer to. She was unkind and didn't make eye contact. She didn't listen to anything I had to say or ask. She is the reason that people stop seeing doctors.

Dr. Nitschmann is great. She spent a lot of time explaining my situation to me and spent even more time explaining my surgery and options to me. I couldn't count how many times she asked if I had any questions. She was very kind and caring. She took the time to listen to what I had to say and was speedy getting back to me when I called with questions. I highly recommend her and will be recommending her to everyone.
