Dr. Caroline Nguyen-Min, MD

Wonderful doctor and office! Dr. Min is very thorough and listens to all of my numerous health concerns. She truly cares for all her patients. I've been through many PCP and she is the best one!

My husband & I have been Dr. Nguyen's patients for the past 2 years. We have found her to be very professional, patient & pleasant. She takes her time when she examines us. I had and issue when my CT and MRI images contradicted each other. This is very scary! But Dr. Nguyen reached out to both MD radiologists and as a result of her intervention, the two doctors produced addenda to clarify the matter. In addition, Dr. Nguyen ordered her staff to contact my previous doctors for my medical records. Dr. Nguyen advises her patients to keep in touch with her through the OH patient portal. She reliably responds within 24 hours. Her staff is friendly, and the office is very clean. The only problem I have is not with Dr. Nguyen, but with the Orlando Health organization. It is it very difficult to make appointments; since the patients are never able to call the actual doctors' offices; we call a national call center. And OH should stop using AI to transcribe doctors notes. It creates mistakes!

She is very patient and listens well to her patient concerns on their health care needs.

She lost 2 stars for Orlando Health ([5+0]/2 = 3). If she runs her own practice or works for other organizations, Dr. Nguyen-Min should have 5 stars. She is good at communicating with patients during visits. Making an appointment to see her is a pain and big frustration. It would give you a big stress to get an appointment while you are sick. We always get the call centers, and they told us to go to their urgent care. When we go to urgent care, they told us to go to ER. In her office, she is the only MD there. When I asked any questions about other processes, I was told I just work here. Dr. Nguyen-Min, you need to find another place to practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen-Min for 5 years and consider her on of the best doctors I’ve had in my 69 years. She’s always accessible, and her entire practice is very efficient with well qualified staff. I received the best treatment and referrals to amazing specialists from Dr Nguyen-Min. She’s smart and listens. Two qualities I require.

Dr. Carolins Nguy?n-Min is by far, the best primary care doctor I've had in the 8 years that I've lived in Florida. She listens closely, takes time to know her patient, has excellent referral turn-around times, very easy to communicate with in the MyChart Portal. Her education and training is top notch. If you have complicated issues, she's definitely the one to see. Of course, she can handle the basics, but I appreciated her medical/diagnostic skills. Her office staff are efficient, friendly, and best yet, vaccinated! I feel safe going there. I'm so grateful to have Dr. N as my doctor. I'm relatively new with her, but I've met people in her office that travel from Clarmont to see her. She's the best!

Dr. Nguyen is wonderful! She is very kind and helpful. I usually dread appointments, but I always look forward to seeing her. She is understanding and actually listens to the patient. I can't recommend her enough.

Do not use this dentist! Every visit you end up waiting an hour, they bill you incorrectly every time, and she is very crass towards patients and will interrupt you, speak over you, and put her hand up to stop you from talking. She is not interested in what the patient has to say. Her work on my standard crown was terrible. The crown broke off less than a year. Upon seeing the dentist, she had multiple excuses for the tooth being broken off and not one of them was her fault. She said she is not responsible and said I signed the contract in a very condescending way and walked away from the conversation. Now I have to get major surgery to fix her mistakes.

While my engagement with Dr. Nguyen was good, I was surprised to get a bill for a co-pay on my yearly physical which should have been covered 100%. In speaking to the receptionist I was told that it was due to the fact that my visit was coded as a comprehensive visit not a physical. As a new patient to this practice, if this is the standard, I should have been notified at the visit. When I asked what a physical would be I was told that it is when you come for your yearly visit and do not have any issues at all. Frankly, I was dumbfounded at this response as I had no new issues or illnesses to discuss with the doctor. I was told that because I received a referral to a dermatologist and because I got prescriptions for medication it was considered comprehensive and not a yearly physical. I am afraid to see what else this physician will code differently in the future as all my previous physicians had no problem with providing standard referrals and prescriptions during my physical.

Dr. Nguyen is very attentive and considerate. She explains things very well and answers all questions. Her office also offers a Patient Portal for emailing the doctor/staff and to get results. It's a wonderful option for communication after-hours or just to get a quick note or question to the doctor. I'm very happy with Dr. Nguyen and will not go elsewhere. Patient-care is obviously important to Dr. Nguyen and staff.
