Dr. Norton is incredibly knowledgeable, willing to give her time, and has the best bedside manner! She is willing to answer every question (no matter how basic, even multiple times) and never gets short. She explains everything very well and really keeps up with recent studies well (allowing her to provide the best science backed recommendations). She has a great staff (Corey, PA, and Priscilla, Nurse), and does her own deliveries, even in the middle of the night when she's not on call. She has a much lower C-section rate than other doctors at Methodist Richardson. My first pregnancy was very normal and Norton did a great job delivering. My second pregnancy is high risk and she's been fantastic at helping me understand every bit of what's happening and the risks associated with it. Today she spent a full hour just talking with me creating a delivery plan, and it was so wonderful that I felt compelled to get online and write some reviews.

I labored at home for 13 hours until 8 cm and I arrived at Methodist Richardson. Norton was on call. The baby's heart rate was good as was mine. Without my consent, Dr. Norton used a tool to break my water. Shortly after the baby's heart rate dropped to 60 bpm and the nurses were not able to get it back up. I was then rushed back for an emergency CS. There was nothing in my chart that indicated AROM was necessary. My son has been in NICU touch and go for 4 days and I can't even hold him.

The front desk is not at all friendly, I have been trying to get parking which is really painful at this location, the front desk didn't allow my wife to check in unless the payment is done upfront, this is in spite of us having insurance and all.my accounts are current.. the staff was really rude in giving us answers

I have been a patient in this practice since 2007. Dr. Carol Norton became my doctor after her business partner left. Dr. Norton has always been very professional and caring. She is always up to date with the latest changes in regards to woman's health and issues. She delivered my second child and came to check on me even when she was off the next day. Her staffs are courteous and I would highly recommend Dr. Norton if you are looking for a caring and knowledgeable OB!

I love this office. Very friendly staff. I switched from another provider who I wasn't happy with. I feel like I made the right choice. Dr Norton is super nice. She answered all of my questions. My wait time has been maybe 10 to 15 minutes at the most. When I am concerned about anything they make sure that they address it immediately. All around great office.

I have been looking for a physician like Dr. Norton for many years. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes for my appointment, but I also realize that there are patients ahead of me, who may need a little extra time. I don't want her to rush my appointment because others are waiting, so I understand that appointment times are not set in stone. I would recommend Dr. Norton to anyone looking for a Dr who listens and is willing to help.

Dr Norton's office has been one of the worst office experiences I've had. I have waited 25-45min for every appointment scheduled there. Once the dr left me waiting, undressed in the exam room for 45min. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I was expecting to deliver with dr. Norton whom I went to see from the beginning of my pregnancy. But after about the 32nd week my patience ran out. During the 32 weeks the doctor only made it to 3 of my appointments of which I waited an average of 1.5 ~ 2 hours past my appointment time at each visit. The rest of the time dr. Norton did not show up after prolonged waiting... The nurse eventually just checked my weight, gave me shots, asked how I was doing, checked my baby's heartbeat.

Dr. Norton is fantastic. She helped me through a difficult pregnancy and always listened to what I had to say. She is super laid back and doesn't try to scare you with all the different possibilities of outcomes. It's a busy practice, so the staff can make it feel really businesslike, but Dr. Norton is totally worth it.
