Dr. Guthrie's assistant, Sharon, was very thorough and knowledgeable in introducing me to the practice and preparing me for my visit with the doctor. Dr. Guthrie spent a good deal of time with me. She asked many questions, clearly explained the importance of the questions and my answers. She clarified my condition for me, reviewed options for my follow-up care, and suggested a referral to another specialist. I did not feel rushed through the appointment. All of my questions were addressed and answered with concern and compassion. I am relieved that I am in the care of Dr. Guthrie.

I have been seeing Dr. Guthrie for 20 years. She performed a mastectomy 20 years ago due to breast cancer. She was very thorough & explained all options . I continue to see her every year for checkups. I always feel very confident that she does a thorough breast exam. She is also very personable & makes me feel comfortable. I highly recommend her to anyone that has breast concerns.

I totally agree with Kaila Jeffcoat,my grandchild, what she said about Dr Guthrie. I left something about my "no breasts".She helped take my 2nd one off in 1994 and I think it was one of her firsts operations here.I have been to her ever since every year. She is super!Our family has 75% cancer in our family,so we are careful about being checked.

I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Guthrie. She has been a long standing provider for our family, including my grandmas double mastectomy due to breast cancer. There is usually a wait to get in to her, and expect to wait some the day of your appointment but she is worth it. She is though, takes her time and is conservative yet proactive. I am 29 and have undergone mammograms, ultra sounds, breast MRI’s and 2 biopsies due to being in a higher risk category and having many lumps. I’ve never felt I had to do a test or biopsy that she didn’t have definitive results showing further testing was necessary. I have since moved out of state and travel across the country once a year to see her because after trying other breast specialists, none are as professional, or as good as her including a great bed side manner! 10/10 recommend her and her team!

I highly recommend Dr. Guthrie. She is very thorough and always ensures she has addressed all my questions and concerns. I am very confident in my medical plan. I have had a lot of breast exams and I’d have to say after she examines me I feel that if something were there, she would have found it. That is not how I’ve felt in the past. I feel very fortunate to have found her, she is an outstanding and caring doctor.

Dr. Guthrie has been an amazing specialist in my health plan and care. She was instrumental in my moms health for years and has taken the same time, care and knowledge with mine also. I highly recommend Dr. Guthrie.

She was never on time for appointments. I am saying more than 45 minutes late. On my first day post op I needed to use the restroom after being placed in a exam room. On my way out I saw her in her office playing what looked like a video game. It took her several more minutes to see me. At that same visit she came in with a big smile and said the deducts were good. About a minute the smile changed to a frown and told me that the cancer was in my lymph nodes. She possibly is a good surgeon but I would never see her again.

Dr. Guthrie is an excellent doctor. She took every precaution to make sure that I would be okay during surgery as I have special needs. I have muscular dystrophy and surgery can be very risky. She assembled a great team to work with her to make sure that I got the best care.. my surgery went way better than expected.. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I felt very safe in her care.
