Poor patient service
If you have any follow-up questions, she makes it impossible to communicate with her without scheduling another appointment and does not offer any type of patient portal, which makes it seem like she's focused on money rather than patient care.

Essential tremor treatment never discussed
When I spoke with her about ultrasound treatment for my essential tremor she acknowledged that they had been performing this type of treatment for at least two years in Richmond and at the UVA. Although she knew of my condition, she never revealed to me that this type of non-invasive surgery was available. I got successfully treated in Richmond, and never spoke to Dr. Fuentes again.....I fired her for not telling me about this treatment that has changed my life significantly.

She is cery friendly and extremely knowledgeable in her field. When you have an appointment you are seen at that time, no waiting at all Listens carefully to all my questions and explains everything in a way I can easily understand. Never rushes me through an appointment. Excellent bedside manner. Would highly recommend her.

Dr. Carmen Fuentes has been treating my husband for Parkinson's Disease for the last six years. She is extremely bright, ccaring, compassionate, and always explains and answers your questions so that you can easily understand. My husband has the beginnings of Dementia and she is treating that, also. I would definitely recommend Dr. Carmen Fuentes to anyone with Parkinson's Disease! She will take excellent care of you!
