Dr. Carmen Fernandez, DO

Dr. Fernandez is great you are always greeted with a smile. She will take the time to go over all your test results and explains everything. She listens to your concerns and you never feel rushed. I feel blessed to have found a caring doctor who cares about her patients.

Dra Carmen takes time to listen to her patients. In my opinion she is the best Dr to take care you and your family!

Caring, compassionate and takes the time to listen to her patients

This dr actively listens and works with me to find options that go beyond just prescribing pills when the need arises. Of course she also prescribes as health indicates, but it is nice to see a wholistic approach! She’s easy to talk with and although you know she has patients back to back and moves things along, she covers whatever is needed before she leaves to the next room (and verifies her treatment plan so that one knows exactly what the plan is before leaving). As a retired nurse, I find her very professional, up to date and effective!

I’m a working mother of 2 and I appreciate Dr. Fernandez consistently making sure I’m taking care of myself. I never want to disappoint her so I make sure I follow her guidance. She listens and truly cares about her patients. Thanks to her approach I’ve been on a path of good health. I refer her to everyone I know including my own Mother.

I have seen Dr. Fernandez several times. Each time she really listens, she is gentle and wise. She is does not "tell you" what you must do for your health, she works with you to find a constructive solution that you are comfortable with.

I cannot speak highly enough of this lovely doctor. I have been a patient of hers for the past 4 yrs and I feel fortunate to have found her. Yes, the practise is busy, but Dr. Fernandez is never too busy to listen. She is the sweetest, kindest and most thorough doctor I've ever had. She never misses a beat. She makes you feel so at ease. She is beautiful inside and out. I just love her. I can highly recommend Dr. Carmen Fernandez.

Dr Fernandez was accepting new patients close to where my office is on college parkway. I scheduled an appointment with her and they were able to get me in the next week which really impressed me. For my first visit she actually physically examined me and ordered lots of bloodwork as well as spent a good period time with me in conversation getting to know my health history and current concerns. I have now sent to friends from work to see her and I would recommend her to anyone I care about.

Left a voicemail to pick up and start taking thyroid medicine before any follow-up appoitment to even explain why (follow-up appt. was just two weeks after labs). Also entirelly overlooked the lab results that I had a UTI and never even mentioned that I had one in the voicemail. Totally overlooked those lab results. Ended up at a Saturday care clinic to be treated. And then they send me a bill for $15 for "services". Do not recommend.
