Dr. Cawley is very thorough. She listens carefully, evaluates all of your symptoms and makes an accurate diagnosis. You are NOT just a number with this doctor. She is constantly working on your health. I have received notes in my patient portal as late as 9pm where she is still working on my chart. She cares about you. If you listen, make the lifestyle changes and take your medication exactly as prescribed. Dr. Cawley will put you on the road to recovery.

Unfortunately, due to insurance change, I am no longer able to see this wonderful doctor. Dr. Cawley was my mother’s primary for years, and they had the deepest respect, and dare I say love, for each other. Up to my mother’s last days, Dr. Cawley was her advocate. I was blessed when Dr. Cawley accepted me as a patient as I’d never known this level of care before. She is thorough, data conscious in her decision making, and extremely knowledgeable. She personalizes her care because she knows her patients. Her staff is always friendly, and my experience has been that they go out of their way to address any questions or issues. Nothing is ever left on the back burner, so to speak. The office is well managed and appears to run smoothly - no feelings of being rushed. That’s exactly how I felt at each visit with Dr. Cawley as well. I appreciated the frank, honest, positive, solution-based consults. She is an excellent doctor!

I saw this doctor several years ago and she was rude and arrogant. She said I probably had bladder or kidney cancer before any tests were done only to find out I didn't. When I asked for a copy of the lab results to take to my Urologist that I'd gone to for years, she got huffy and sent me a letter telling me they no longer wanted me as a patient. She wanted to treat my diabetes and thyroid also and I told her I already had an Endocrinologist. She obviously thought I didn't need my specialists and she should treat everything. When I first met her, she spoke about herself for about 20 minutes, then asked me what I needed and said to hurry up she only had a few minutes. Any doctor that is that arrogant that thinks we don't need specialists is a danger to medicine. I would go to a vet before I would go to her.

Dr Cawley is thorough and knowledgeable. I trust her professional recommendations regarding my health. I am healthier since becoming her patient. It has been frustrating to connect with staff since she closed practice to go to UT.

11/27/18 HORRIBLE physician!!! I saw her ONE time & tried to explain how my medication wasn't working & may need to be adjusted. She through a hissy-fit & said, VERBATIM, "you're not going to put me in a box!" What the heck?! WHY would she say such a thing?! Seems to me she tried to get political. I would NEVER recommend this doctor! WORST physician that I've EVER been to! Appalling! I never would've fathomed encountering such unprofessionalism and stereotyping, by a physician. Rude staff, too!

Dr. Cawley is a terrific Doctor. She is ultra thorough and really seems to care about her patients. I have learned a ton about my diet and how to modify it and it’s all been sound advice. Her staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. My wife and I would strongly recommend her to anyone who would like a true pathologist as a posed to a pill dispenser. Thank you Dr. Cawley!

I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Cawley years ago at University when I was fairly new to the medical field. I was her nurse and also became her patient before moving back to Maine. She taught me so much and is a very compassionate and EXCELLENT physician! I have in fact been searching for her since coming back to SA. Highly recommend her as a physician, one of the most knowledgeable ones I have worked with in my 30 something year career! Going to attempt to be her patient once again!

After visiting several doctors in the San Antonio area it was finally Dr Cawley that sat down with me. Listened to me and was willing to take the time and do the proper testing to find a diagnosis for me. If you're looking for a doctor who will genuinely HEAR YOU and get to the root cause of your issues - Dr Cawley is your doctor! (Although she's the best kept secret in town so I am sort of hesitant to leave a review!)

I tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Cawley at Sage Medical. When I called I got a recording that said to go online and fill out the new patient form, then someone will call to schedule an appointment. No one ever called. It is both inconsiderate and unkind to leave a person who is seeking medical care waiting for a phone call that will never come. I believe they owe each person who submits a new patient form a phone call to let them know whether they will be accepted as a patient.
