Dr. Tandron = Trail Magic
Thanks to the superior service rendered to me after I tore my ACL, my hiking days have continued smoothly for years. Now, I’m positioned to complete the Appalachian Trail next year! I owe so much to this wonderful physician.

Brusque, dispassionate, unhelpful- NOT recommended
Dr. Tandron didn't perform an exam, diagnosed arthritis, made us feel like we were wasting his time. Called another treating physician an "idiot", ordered MRI to "make us feel better". Staff called with "normal for age" MRI but we subsequently requested report which showed arthritis, multiple meniscal tears, large hemorrhagic cyst. Got a second opinion which has been helpful.

Dr. Carlos began treatment before covid was a thing, he knew I did not want surgery it was a last resort. When I couldn't deal with pain and weakness anymore he got me in and took care of me. He is the kindest and most passionate I have ever dealt with in all my life. He knew my post op recovery wasn't so good and kept checking on us between surgeries, I couldn't have picked a better doctor, thank you!

In December 2016, Dr. Tandron completed a very difficult surgery. He successfully repaired a complete rupture of my quadriceps tendon. I was 80 years old, with A-fib and leukemia. Most surgeons would have sent me away. He not only repaired my tendon but he also monitored the physical therapy. He is a professional as a doctor and as a person. I do not rush to give kudos but Dr. Tandron is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Florida and a very professional person who is compassionate and caring.

Follow up to my review: Dr. Savarese in JOI is much more interested in providing patient care and wellness. I was seen by him today and his staff and his bedside manner are night and day to Dr. Tandron. He actually took the time to LISTEN and provide actual care. Gave a cortisone shot to my shoulder and now I can actually sleep and function again! I will be forever grateful for Dr. Savarese! So much for this shoulder “specialist” Dr. Tandron. It was my shoulder like I said! Not nerve pain!

This doctor just wants to see you if your shoulder has something he can perform surgery on. He basically said as much to me. Wouldn’t even do a cortisone shot to my shoulder. The fact that I can’t sleep due to pain in my shoulder didn’t cause him to blink. Sent me off with strong ibprophen, saying it’s nerve pain. What did this dr give me for nerve pain?Nothing, strong ibuprofen and physical therapy.Doesn’t care that it’s a holiday week or that I worked hard to just get a sitter for my 10mth old

Dr. Tandron is an excellent doctor, professional and compassionate. He helped me ease the shoulder pain sending me for MRI, shoulder injection and PT. Dr. Tandron also asked me to see my PCP and make sure there is no other health issue after knee and shoulder issues. Thank you Dr. Tandron!
