Dr. Carlos Puig, MD

The visit was at 7 am the nurse upfront Florine was very unprofessional opened past 7 am with a front line of 4 pregnant women outside at 40 degrees and she was very comfortable in her car and opened late. Not happy with that she has an attitude towards my wife.

I switched to Puig as a recommendation from my mother, I carried twins almost full term under his care. Very thorough and very understanding even though I had a million questions. I also healed very nicely from my c-section. Any issue I had during my pregnancy he had a solution. He also has a very calm temperament that puts you at ease.

Dr. Puig does not care about his patients. First pregnancy, i was pregnant about 5 months and during those months i would get bleedings that were not normal, i would let him know and he would not check me, all he would say was that it was normal. About 21 weeks i suffered a very heavy bleeding and i called their clinic and they told me to go to Women's Hospital in Edinburg. Turns out he does not have privileges there. He was in Mission Hospital, so the clinic lied to me. The staff is very rude too. They could not move me to the Mission hospital because i was already suffering a miscarriage. Dr. Puig never once checked up on me. After the miscarriage i made an appointment(because they didnt even do that) to go see the Dr. to ask if i was okay and what was the reason for the miscarriage. Dr. said he did not know. Throughout the whole pregnancy Dr. Puig neglected me. If he would have done his job correctly, i would have never suffered from a miscarriage. Please avoid this doctor!

I went to see Dr Puig because I had heard many nice things about him. He is a great doctor! He is very caring and always takes his time to listen to all your concerns. He helped me have a normal delivery after my first baby was a csection. I deffinitely recomend him

This is my first baby and I really recommend him. He is very nice and friendly and explains everything throughly. I feel at ease with him, as he has a very calm presence.

Highly recommend him he explains you everything. He listens and answers any concerns or questions you might have. Very friendly doctor & trustworthy too. The wait is long but well worth it! (3 + hour wait) but that is the only downfall but besides the wait he is the doctor you want to take care of your pregnancy.
