The doctor did not take the time to review the medical history that is completed before the medical appointment and missed several referrals.

Doctor transferred prescriptions to another pharmacy despite patient's parent's protest to avoid his office having to do preauthorization. Delayed getting the prescription filled due to repeated failure to send preauthorization. Patient went more than 2 weeks without vital behavioral medications for special needs. Provider's staff sent referral to a neurologist stating reason as 'cardiac palpitations' which didn't exist, causing further delay as referral had to be repeated.

Dr Porters office is the worst medical experience in my life. They change doctors and office personal like they change their underwear. I liked PA Leigh And PA Stephanie. Now they are gone. I started getting text messages on March 21 that they would no longer be taking my insurance as of April 1st. A 10 day notice. Very Unprofessional on their part. They wanted me to change to their recommendation. NO way. I made an appointment on March 30th with bloodwork and to fill prescriptions since I new had to find a new doctor. I went to see Dr Frost on their Pat Booker location. I waited an hour and a half for him to see me. He was very nervous. We discussed my blood work and we discussed the prescriptions that needed to be filled. He said he would fill them. Well he never put them in the system. After calling several times and going to the Pat Booker office in person, they stated that he would fill the ones I needed. Guess what it didn't happen. The place is a revolving door (doctors, PAs, office staff). In 3 yrs I've seen Dr Porter 3 times for approx. 5-7 min. He's acts like he has ants in his pants and it seemed he didn't familiarize himself with my medical record. No wonder he has to have 5 facilities to bring $ in to keep hiring employees. Staff will not let you talk to a doctor or PA via phone even if you were there a few days before, you HAVE to go in (so you can wait forever and they can bill, bill, bill!!!).

We have visited this group multiple times. Each visit we experienced rude and unprofessional. people. Any attempt to acquire referrals is a complete waste time. Find another.

I've been seeing doctor Carlos Porter he was extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I highly recommend he cares about his patient health condition. I really appreciate you doctor C. Porter

Went several times thinking I would have a better experience but it didn't happen. Staff is rude and unhelpful, take too long to get back to you. Only saw the doctor once, there after it was only the PA's . Once, the office charged me wrong and even though I gave them notice in writing, they refused to offer a refund, only office credit. Why would one want office credit if one doesn't want to return? Avoid this practice.

Runs his Association like a crooked used car lot. Takes advantage of seniors on Medicare and supplemental insurance

Staff is incompetent and not helpful. They take days to get back to you and resolve issues. Abuse of constant laboratory tests even when your numbers have not changed. Ridiculous to go in to get refills for prescriptions.

Dr. Porter is an outstanding physician. the negative is with wait time on the phone. You also have to go thru a list options. You pick an option and you are told to leave your name and number(Which takes hours to return). or you are place on other option and have to go thru the whole thing again. I waited as long and 20 min when placed on hold. I am very close to leaving that clinic.

Requires patients to come in too often!! Blood work is extreme. Need a refill? Requires you to go in even if you have just seen the doctor!!!!’ Never get to see Dr Porter always se the PA.

With the exception of the receptionists this office is horrible, his PA is very condescending took me off all my medications, I was very sick and in severe pain. I never went back to this horrible horrible place. One week later I found a new Dr here in town and spent over a month in the hospital with Anka-P Vasculitis which can only be treated with chemotherapy. You pay these people to treat you and trust that they are doing the right thing. Please DO NOT GO HERE. Very bad drs office

Dr. Porter is the best. He has been my doctor for 16 years and I wouldn't think of finding another doctor despite the fact that he has a very nasty woman in the office area who is loud, rude and thoughtless. She has made me kind of afraid to even go see my doctor. I also had one instance when I had an appointment with one of his PA's and this PA shared a confidential conversation that I had with her in the examination room and shared it with a non-med employee in the office. UNPROFESSIONAL!!

AMAZING IMPROVEMENT OVER THE LAST 2 YEARS! I have been a patient for 15+ years and chose to stay with Dr.Porter because of his AMAZING care for me. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any concerns you may have. Amazing office manager Cindi, what an amazing job on turning that place around. I 100% recommend this doctors office.

Nursing staff argue with patient on how things need to be done. And office manager will back them up and make it look like they are being miss treated and not stick for the patient.
