Outstanding patient care..procedure went smooth, painfree and the staff is amazing

It's a new me! 20/20 in 2020! 20 years + and I finally said goodbye to glasses and contacts thanks to the amazing, friendly, and helpful team at Manrique Custom Vision. I appreciate the guidance and support offered by the staff and Dr. Manrique. I am beyond excited to not have to reach for my glasses when I get out of bed and not to have my glasses fog up when I use my face mask. If you are looking forward to saying goodbye to your glasses and/or contacts I recommend you call Manrique Custom Vision!

I am on day 1 post surgery and I feel amazing. Dr. Manrique and his staff are wonderful people and are amazing at what they do. From start to finish, Dr. Manrique and staff were very professional, made sure all my questions were answered. The day of surgery, the same, very attentive and professional. The day after, Dr. Manrique wasn't kidding, my vision was 100% improved. Can't say enough about the staff and Dr. Manrique.

While a popular doctor in the valley, Dr. Manrique is only as good as his staff. My mother is a patient of his and unfortunately EVERY single time she is there for an appt, it is at least a 4-5 hour wait. If you want to dehumanize these elderly ill patients, this is a good way to do it. Totally inconsiderate staff & poorly managed office--and at the end of the day, he is strictly just running a business there. These office employees (including this doctor) have no respect for patient's times. They don't skip their lunch breaks but think nothing of leaving a patient to wait for 5 hours during the lunch hours. Don't walk away from this...run. So many other doctors in the area that can perform same quality of healthcare , if not better.

The staff is very nice and they have tried to help but my LASIK was not successful. I see a staff optometrist there and she's great but my issues are not resolved. After the initial surgery, I was vastly undercorrected. I had to go get glasses again that I could wear until we could do follow-up surgical corrections. We've done those in both eyes but I'm in my 3rd pair of glasses and cannot function in life without them. I tried extremely hard to pass the drivers license test but couldn't read a single number in the passing line for the vision test. Also, my eyes don't seem to be able to handle contacts anymore. I'd worn them since the age of 12. My night vision deteriorated immediately too. The worst part of that is the my vision is MUCH, MUCH less clear in glasses than ever before the surgery. My RX is much less strong of course, but I would rather have never done surgery and see clearly through glasses and be able to use contacts again. Losing both of those is unfortunate.

Bad experience. His advertisement says consult is complimentary. but it is not true. They do not tell the patient what is a hidden cost. They are Money hungry. if you go to see the doctor and somehow you decide not to proceed for the procedure. then the manager will tell you that you have to pay 2000 dollars for a consultation but their advertisement does not say that way. so this is a catch. if you call them for any questions you have . they do not get back to you. I am talking about San Antonio texas lac contra clinic. It needs to be reported medical board department. especially the manager is not providing details information. He is worried about applying their credit card and sign here and there. patient believe them and sign the paper. then they get money from the credit card before service rendered and procedure is not done yet but they get money from the credit card. customer get a bill from the credit card before the procedure. I am not going to recommend this Dr. Manrique

Very knowledgeable staff, easy access and on time for appointments. My surgery was explained in detail, my experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend to anyone considering Lasix surgery.

Manrique Custom Vision Center did an amazing job! I got my lasik done here. Every single person who works at the office was friendly, welcoming, and informative about the procedure etc. I highly recommend the work of Manrique.

I am beyond amazed! The staff was wonderful (shout out to Richard), the office is nice/clean, Manrique was super friendly and the procedure was a success!!! If you are considering making an appointment, just do it already!!!! Great financing options as well!!! :)

I would recommend this doctor to anyone. It hasn’t even been 24 hours and I am pain free and reading and typing this review with no glasses or contacts. This is the first time I’ve been able to do this since in my 40s.

Had I known the procedure was so simple, I would have done it years ago.

Dr.Manrique was really nice and helpful. When he was done with the procedure he asked me how i was feeling and he was very caring.

Very professional. The whole experience was great. The procedure was explained and went quickly and I am 100% pleased with my results (it's only been 24+ hours)! I recommend him to all my friends and family!

I was told I would be so happy after surgery....by the salesman. Saw the doctor for all of 5 minutes or however long the surgery took. Was hustled in and out like cattle in groups for the information being told by someone who could call the script in their sleep. I lost my near vision even though all my follow ups say I have 20/20. My passion in life is art. That has been taken away unless I wear glasses. I can see to drive ad watch TV without glasses but it is blurry. Headaches & dry eye.
