I visited with perplexing symptoms of pain, fatigue, migraines, insomnia and depression despite being in my 20s and leading a very healthy lifestyle- I knew that something was wrong. I inquired about Lyme disease- I explained that at the age of 10 I'd had an embedded tick and that my symptoms had plagued me for years and were worsening. SHE LAUGHED IN MY FACE. Told me how rare Lyme disease is (it's not) and said to get a massage and get more sleep. I found out later that I do have Lyme later.
