Had a great experince for my hernia surgery.
1 Answered all my questions 2Accommodated my work schedual to help me have the surgery and get 4 days to rest before returning to work.3followed up on the next day on the 4th of july.4Gave me perfect instructions on how to get back on my feet in the least amount of time .I could not have asked for a better experince .

Very happy with my results. Was scared at first to go through with the procedure but Dr. Weiss and his knowledge made my decision easy. Dr. Weiss and his team was very friendly and informative. Life changing experience
Dr. Weiss and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. They address every question and concern without judgment. Once you finally make the decision to have bariatric surgery, the next question is who to trust. I could not recommend Dr. Weiss and the team at Fingerlakes Bariatrics more!

Experienced, professional, great result
Mr Weiss exceeded my expectations from the first visit. I entered consultation alone but he soon persuaded me to bring in my wife so we could both have full knowledge of what would happen. The consult was professional and informative. The surgery was scheduled in a swift three weeks time. Surgery was very professional and results so far are excellent

Dr Weiss is excellent
Dr Weiss and his staff are an outstanding team. The treatment I received changed my life. They are wonderful, especially with pre- and post-operative support. I had a life threatening condition and had gastric sleeve surgery that I believe literally saved my life. I recommend Dr Weiss and Fingerlakes Bariatric Center wholeheartedly and without reservation for anyone suffering with Type 2 diabetes or similar diseases related to weight. They are absolutely the best.

Best Staff
I wish I had known Dr. Weiss was in Auburn years ago. You can tell he cares about his patients. He takes the time to answer any questions you may have about the whole process of bariatric surgery. His office is only a call away if you have any questions, even after hours someone will get back to you. After surgery I was having trouble drinking enough water and ended up in the emergency room. While I was there the Dr. Weiss happened to call me to check on how I was doing. I told him I was in the ER and not 15 minutes later he was there making sure the ER was giving me the correct fluids. His whole staff is amazing. I would highly recommend Dr. Weiss to anyone thinking of having a gastric sleeve done. He will take great care of you!

ER
I visited Auburn Community Hospital ER with extreme discomfort. After Dr Usmani discovered the issue, he introduced me to Dr. Weiss III. Dr Weiss was very kind, personable, interested in what I had to say, and very obviously extremely intelligent. He listened to my questions, gave me ample time, and performed gall bladder surgery. My follow up visit with him was great; again, took time to answer my questions, etc. I highly recommend Dr Weiss and appreciate his professionalism and intelligence.

The best surgeon and team I’ve experienced!
Dr. Weiss and the entire team at finger lakes bariatrics made the experience of weight loss surgery an easy decision. I would do it again without hesitation because of that team and their caring, knowledgeable and selfless demeanors. I highly recommend finger lakes bariatrics and have lost 60 pounds and have kept it off for over 4 years and counting!

He expressed confidence in his skills, and he delivered! Dr. Weiss has been excellent throughout the entire process. I met with him on the first day. My operation was as smooth as could be with no complications. I felt well guided leading up to the surgery and have been treated like a person not a number after the surgery. He and his staff understand that you are making a life altering change and are there to support you all the way.

Excellent bariatric surgeon and general surgeon
I had gastric sleeve surgery and laparoscopic gallbladder surgery done by him. His surgical skills are very good. Incisions always heal up nicely and are barely. No post op complications. Knows his stuff and straight to the point. I went straight to him when I had an enlarged gallbladder. Only surgeon I trusted. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about the phenomenal group at Fingerlakes Bariatrics. Dr. Weiss and his team are knowledgeable, compassionate, professional, and openly available for questions at any time. As someone who underwent bariatric surgery, I am delighted to say that it was a complete success. Not only did the surgery remediate my issues with weight and diet and resolve my intractable gastroparesis, but it has also had a profound impact on my overall health and well-being. Before the surgery, I was taking multiple medications to manage my symptoms, and it was affecting my quality of life. Since the surgery, I have been able to reduce my medication intake significantly, and I feel so much better as a result. I feel like a new person, and my confidence has increased significantly! I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Weiss’ team. I felt like I was in good hands every step of the way!

Poor customer service
At my last visit the doctor was 40 minutes late. I had gone to get the bloodwork that he ordered a week in advance, so the results would be received in time. He asked, Do I have your bloodwork? Then he asked, Where did you get your bloodwork done? He ordered it! I received the results in my patient portal - shall I tell you my own bloodwork results? The office staff are not efficient - masks worn below their noses, mistakes made all the time.
