The staff at this doctor's office is incredibly unfriendly. Most doctor's offices, you're greeted with a friendly receptionist who greets you with a smile, and then the back office staff is friendly as well. Not here. It's like going to the DMV or some government office. Not an ounce of friendliness, and on 5 or 6 occasions they've flat out given me attitude or argued with me, and one lady today hung up on me when I asked for her name. The sad thing is, the nurse practitioners/PA's are pretty good once you get to them. Dr. McKinney I've only physically seen once, so I can't say much about him. But his NP's/PA's are good. But the rest of the staff gets an F, absolutely terrible, consistently. Gets my blood pressure up every time I have the misfortune of having to talk to them. Stay away from this office, you will have problems with appointments, billing problems, problems with prescriptions, you name it. Miserable.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. McKenney for years. He is old fashioned and takes time with his patients. You may have to wait a while in the waiting room to see him, but he will take the time needed to spend with you when he gets you in the examination room. There is no rushing you in and out. He gets to know you on a personal level which helps him to treat you on a professional level. And his nurses are the best. If he ever retires, we just don't know what we will do!!!
