Dr.Balog and his staff are excellent
I moved to Oregon a year ago and was so glad that Dr. Balog was accepting new patients for pain management. I can't thank Dr. Balog and his staff enough. They are very caring, take time with you and answer your questions. Dr. Balog suggested I get an updated Lumbar MRI which showed a compressed fracture at L2. In November he performed Kyphoplasty, which has helped a lot with my pain. Today I received a steroid injection in my right hip which has also been a problem area. Dr. Balog said the numbing agent might sting, I might feel a pinch, but it really didn't hurt! This is the first time I have had a steroid injection that wasn't painful. Thank you Dr. Balog for your expertise and please thank your staff for me as well.

Dr. Compassion (Dr. Balog)
I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Balog as my physician for many years after a skiing accident left me with a broken back and suffering with chronic back pain. Everyone at Balog Regenerative is very courteous and one is always greeted with genuine compassion to help you any way they can. I can't tell you how much they have helped me with my chronic pain. Dr. Balog Joe and myself have decided to proceed with a spinal chord stimulator to assist me with managing my chronic back pain better. I have total confidence in Dr Balog for even better pain relief. I have recommend Dr Balog to friends with great results. I'm so fortunate to have found the specialized care that Balog Regenerative provides and genuinely give them a heartfelt thanks for the specialized care I receive. Thank you Rick Keel

I just wanted to thank Dr. Balog for my ability to walk again!!! I was introduced to PRP for my ankle. I was in SO much pain, that I could barely put weight on it! The very day that I had it done, it was better, but I think that's because of the fluid in my ankle. It then got a little worse again for a week or so, and then... like magic-- I began to forget my ankle had pain! Because it didn't, anymore! I was walking without thinking about it! WHOO HOOOO! It's expensive, but if you want to walk bad enough, you'll do it! It's so awesome! Thank you, team!

My provider is closing her office Dec 1 & she gave me Dr Balog as a referral. She had spoken to him previously to verify the new patients she would be sending to his practice. I called & requested an appt approx. Sept 1st. I was told by his staff that he would have to look over my file first to see if he was willing to take me as a new patient, it would take about a week. They would call me back to schedule a new patient appt. or not. I never heard back. After speaking to my provider she sent my file to Dr Balog Oct 1st. Still no call back. I called yesterday Nov 10 to attempt to schedule an appt. I spoke with reception, she placed me on hold & I was disconnected. Took a couple of try’s to get back in contact. I was told they had just received my file and were going to call me in the afternoon to set an appointment. I asked how far out would be scheduling & she did not want to answer. I asked to speak with the Doc. She got angry & hung up on me. Never called to schedule appt.

Folks at this clinic are both kind and professional. I have talked with other chronic pain patients who experience the opposite. I am stable on my medication and am not treated as a drug seeker. On the flip side, I do not and would not give them any reason to think otherwise. I am grateful for this beyond expression.

Dr balog does seem to be a very nice man and he did preform procedures that helped me but be careful because he will give you ask much main oils as you want. I'm sure some of you love hearing that but it almost destroyed my life and it took 4 years for me to get back to normal and restart my career. It was pure hell and I'm still on suboxone. Going to Dr balog was easily the worse choice of my entire life. I was in pain but they tripled my dose within 4 months to 120mg oxy a day. Don't do it!

I sustained an elbow injury in Feb 2018, which resulted in lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow). This continued for 18 weeks despite anti-inflammatories, total rest and physical therapy. It was debilitating as it was my dominate arm. I could not turn a door knob, hold a cup of coffee etc. Dr Balog recommended Tenex treatment to the tendon involved. The treatment took 20 minutes and it has been 2 weeks today. I am PAIN FREE. I am in shock and awe on the effectiveness of his recommended procedure.

His assistant lied about my insurance coverage & made me pay $1500 for a procedure I had. After insurance paid, I didn’t get refund. No return phone calls, a month later, so I wrote Dr Balog a kind letter explaining his associate’s conduct and asking for my refund. He knew I was a low income single parent. He sided with his assistant, said he would not see me again, after 2 years of care. I was hurt he wouldn’t listen and I was left w/out care. Unfair & Unprofessional. No accountability.

His staff committed a major HIPPA violation by faxing my records to an unknown source. Lied to me about my insurance company not wanting to pay when truth was they never got the information required for a decision. They ousted me for "behavior" since I called the ins. at the staff's insistence and found out the truth. Refused to send records to other doctors in a timely manner and when we asked for my medical records, they only had a 1/3 of them & even those were 50% from my previous doctor.
