This was the worst, most traumatic, doctor experience I have ever had. I have severe medical trauma after having care from this doctor.

Dr. Hopen is the best doctor I've ever had, and I was sorry to see her leave the VA system in Mt Vernon. I wish that I could see her again, but I'm a veteran and can't choose her as a provider now. I am hoping that I am able to establish care with her, for my daughter, when she accepts new patients again.

I could not love, respect and appreciate DOC Hopen more. She is, has been my primary care physician for over 10-years, while active duty and as Veteran. Unfortunately, the Mount Vernon VA CBOC proved incapable of retaining Doc Hopen's exceptional services. Sadly, replaced by under-qualified individual. Doc Carina Hopen shall be deeply missed.
